Vaporizers? any good?

Hey , I was wondering about vaporizers I've never tried one but they seem like a good alternative to the chemicals and what not in the smoke, but my friend said he heard that they dont really work too well (getting you high) and they are a waste.Does anyone know anything about this?

They get you really really high. It's a real clearheaded, energetic high, too. They work extremely well at getting all the THC to you. Oh, they conserve weed a lot, too.

awesome , thanks. I was thinking of making one from a light bulb after I saw some plans for it on the net,before I really knew about them. You're supposed to put a bottle cap on top of the light bulb (after cleaning it out of course) and put 2 straws through it (one for sucking the smoke, and one to bring through air). You take the cap off, and place your weed in the bulb and then hold a lighteer under it.It's supposed to vaporize it through the glass. It seemed plausible at the time ( when I didn't know any better ) but later when I saw actual vaporizers for sale they look a lot more complex. Do you think this idea would work?

They work, but it's a lot easier to use a bought vaporizer than a lightbulb. I could never figure my lightbulb vape out, so I just threw the weed in my bong and made a night of it :D

yeah, a good vape can be alot of fun...but i just like being able to see the huge hits as i breath them out, with a vape you cant really, and since it hardly feels like you took a hit at all (its so smooth) i just dont get the same feeling with one as i do with a bong/pipe.

I just bought one off of e-bay for 40 bucks and it works fine. I am quite pleased with it.
It is cheeszy but it works well. I would buy it again, aothough I wish I got the one with the thermastat. On ebay you never see the next model till you allready bought the other one,:smokin:

ur friends full of shit vapourizers are the best for high, weed conserving, THC consumption, and all that good stuff but the experience is not as good since you cant do it anywhere you want (no plug ins) and the cheap ones arent good for group smoking(accept the volcano vapourizer it kills any other method of smoking

Another thing I was wondering was are they also good for not making a lot of smell? say for example would it also be a plus that you could use these for a quick sesh in your house without stinking up the place or anyone knowing?

Your friend's stupid...lol sorry just had to say it. Either that or he doesn't know how to use it. I absolutely love doing my light bulb vapourizers. A little in that goes a long way. I find the smoke doesn't smell really that much as much as if you were hitting a pipe or a bong.
