Fucking babies..Some of the funniest shit i have read today was this lunatic ranting and raving about how cruel it is to celebrate fucking Thanksgiving.A couple words to the people who even remotely think like this guy,GO FUCK YOURSELF.You dont have to celebrate it if you dont want to.But leave the other 98% of the population alone when we all celebrate thanksgiving.lol.

The Mayflower Pilgrims would have literally laughed an idiot like this right out of their settlement.

98% celebrate thanksgiving? Probably true, but then that is the secret to genecide, isn't it? Leave no one alive to tell the truth. You really should do something about that 2%.

OMG for once I...I...I...this is tough....Agree with Hamster...there I said it,:D

At first I thought that article was satire....

Thanksgiving is about giving thanks and being together.....it needs to be taken in the context of today not 300 years ago.

^^^true enough, but we should not forget those who died so we can enjoy our prosperity.

Thanksgiving, in and of itself, is just fine and dandy. Just stop putting it in the context of pilgrims and natives coming together, cause that's utter bullshit. Just give thanks, eat your turkey, and end it!

Well lets see here....Halloween is the celebration for witchcraft....Thanksgiving the genocide of the Indians...Christmas isn't "religiously correct" anymore.

And people say war mongles are downers??? So who's gonna shoot the easter bunny in the ass? Valentines day will be proclamed as evil for endorsing promiscuous sex.

We should create a holiday for assholes so all "anti-holiday" people of the world won't feel left out!

Thanksgiving 2005
President George W. Bush invites children on stage, Tuesday, November 22, 2005, to pet "Marshmallow, " the National Thanksgiving Turkey, at the official pardoning of the turkey at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington.
Thanksgiving at the White House

This year marks the 58th anniversary of the National Thanksgiving Turkey presentation. Though live Thanksgiving turkeys have been presented intermittently to presidents since the Lincoln administration, the current ceremony dates to 1947, when the first National Thanksgiving Turkey was presented to President Harry Truman.

The presentation at times has brushed against broader history. For example, the November 1963 event was one of President Kennedy's last in the Rose Garden. The first President Bush conducted the 1990 ceremony just before leaving for Thanksgiving with the troops in the Persian Gulf region. President Clinton in 1996 returned from an Asian summit and literally went directly to the ceremony.
The 2005 National Thanksgiving Turkey and its alternate are from Henning, Minnesota and were raised under the direction of National Turkey Federation Chairman Pete Rothfork. Mr. Rothfork delegated the day-to-day responsibilities to James and Vicki Trites of Henning. The birds are commercial turkeys used in normal industry production, and they were raised using the same techniques as other commercial birds. They were fed a regular diet of corn and soybean meal and were provided a continuous supply of fresh water.

A few minor modifications were made to prepare the birds for the National Thanksgiving Turkey presentation. About 30 turkeys were removed from the normal commercial production flock and are being raised separately on the Trites farm. The birds are periodically hand fed and given additional interaction with people in an effort to acclimate them.

Presidents traditionally have granted the National Thanksgiving Turkey a "pardon". For the past 15 years, the National Thanksgiving Turkeys and their alternates have been retired to Frying Pan Park in Fairfax County, Virginia. The farm is a 1930s-era replica farm operated by the Fairfax County Parks Department.

This year, after the presentation, the National Turkey and its alternate will be taken to Disneyland Resort and Theme Park in Anaheim, California to be a part of the holiday display and where they will stay the remainder of their natural lives. Both the turkeys will serve as honorary Grand Marshals for Disneylandâ??s annual Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The public has spoken. 12,726 votes have been cast and "Marshmallow and Yam" are the winning names of the Thanksgiving Turkey and the alternate that the President pardoned on November 22, 2005.

speaking of which, how was everyone's Thanksgiving? I stuffed my face with my family, then I went to a bar with some of my good friends, it was one dollar you call it night. Afterward, myself and good company got completely stoned. It was a great day.

Glad to hear your holiday was a good one XTC....we had a nice time too.
I missed my boys that could not come home for the holidays....but I'm only one of 125,000 moms.....sigh.

Could you believe those horrid people stomping all over each other to SHOP?!
I found that really disgusting...what was worse is the medias coverage...instead of saying it was appalling for adults to behave that way..the CNN guy says "that's how men shop" as if it was A-OK to punch someone in the face when you shop.
The holidays should bring out the best in people not the worst...

how depressing..

That's nothing new...I can remember smelling liquor on Santa at the mall.....

it's not really right to call them all pedophiles though...alcoholics maybe...that article was kinda mean.

I teach literacy at the shelter on the weekends so I see a lot of "Santa's" many are just really down on their luck and need the extra cash.

I thought any job involving children had to have a back ground check.....you would think they would check their Santa's a little more....

Not at a particular organization. I've had my hands kinda full with my grandmother but thats done now. We do the toy run for kids and the food pantries but thats about it...as far as the crew. Winter time is here though and I have snow blower will travel sort of shit. I got a lil' two stage I throw in the trunk of the car and drive around a bit. Don't like seeing the old folks outside with shovels! It's kinda cool, they see this biker get out of the car and you can see the hesitation untill I pull out the snowblower. LOL
