I am new to growing and was wondering if a a 2ft white flourescent tube would be enough to grow 5 lowryder plants in a space that is 2ftx2ft and als would 5 inch pots be big enough. Also what food do you feed your babies . I have my lowryders now and want to know what is best for them befor germinating.

get a 250 watt Mh or Hps, it's meant to cover exactly 2x2 so you got it perfect, a 400 mite cook them, get a fan in their. you can grow under fluoros, but i would still recomend mh or hps. I don't think it makes a huge difference between mh and hps, some say Hps some say MH. dont feed when really young, after a week or two after germination start with low strength ferts and gradually build up as it grows. If you live in USA you can get a light from www.insidesun.com for really cheap. I saw an advert for a 250HPS only $85 or somethin. When buyig a light look at the watts not the length

One gallon per foot of plant. Example..... If plant will be grown to 3 feet tall than you need a 3 gallon nursery pot.

Ye, If growing lowryders your probably safe with a 2 gallon pot as they grow to no more than 2 feet and usually less (but you never no so 2 gallon is good). Therefore a 5 inch is not big enough

I totally agree. The more soil medium the better. Also the wider the container the bushier your plants will be thanks to more room for side root growth.
