hi everyone im new here just wanted to know if 1 500w halogen floodlight would be powerful enough to grow 5 lowryders in a space 1 1/2 x 2 ft space plus what food do you feed your babies i really dont want to fuck this up

im also growing them in 5 inch pots will that be big enough or will i have to transplant into something bigger later on

forget about the halogen would 1 18w grow lux floresent tube do the trick or would i need 2

you need way more light than that. don't woory about watts. look at lumnes. you should have between 1000-3000 lumnes per square foot. i preffer about 2500

thanx ive decided to go for a 400 watt hps that would surely be enough dont u think?

that will be more than enough. if you don't plan on evey doing larger grown you could use a 250watt set up. if you get a 250watt you could get a conversion system for the same price as a 400watt mh or hps system. that way if you grow a non auto flower strain you can veg with the mh and then flower with the hps.

I've heard of lowryder able to grow on a windowsill so I have a hunch that these bastards don't need to much light

just dont buy from insidesun. products are crap and a lot of them dont work, with no refund

don't listen to sentinel man insidesun.com is great.. never had any trouble with them myself :thumbsup:
