has anyone tried canvassing for the cause? (i.e. printing out flyers and putting them up all over your town)

a few friends and myself will be doing just that! i wonder how difficult it would be to get YOU (yes you) to do the same in your town! just print up a bunch of flyers and stick em up everywhere! sounds fun to me. there are some flyers available at http://www.overgrow.com/flyers.php

smoke up, get off your booty and fight! (with laserjet inks)

All the flyers you link to use the abusive term 'marijuana' and are out of date. !00% in favour of the idea but use up to date info. Why not design your own? All you need is on the net and if you'd like some ideas here's a link to international cannabis support sites..

ok..my printer broke and everyone is too lazy to help. oh well...look on the bright side...think of the trees that would have had to die to put up all those flyers...right? master plan..0% complete :(

ive never thought about doin anything like that before

cannabis has been downgraded from a Class B to a Class C drug in the UK, but as I live in the Channel Islands, and we have our own government, the topic was raised of following suit but it never happened.. there were heated debates, articles in the local newspaper and on the TV and Radio stations, but nothing came of it.. it just died away.. Alot of the people that live here are retired, or near retirement age, so cannabis is still a taboo subject.. I suppose, if me and a few friend posted thousands of flyers like that all over the island, and then wrote to the newspapers and tv stations and said "hey, i just saw this flyer, how come the topic of cannabis legalisation/reclassification has been forgotten?" or something similiar, I guess it would start the debate again.. and if i were too get enough support, get people to sign a petition in support, that kinda thing, i'm sure something would come of it.. what do you think?

just wondering if anyone is still interested in this...the winter is on its way and it'll be too cold to front an effective poster campaign. spring 2005 might be a better time now.

Using Printers as Tiney-Tiny-NewsPapers....

An excellent idea. Did it myself when I did the Register to Vote Flyer. Made 300 flyers and did the cars in a 4 block radius. I don't know if it did any good. But, I felt like I had done something. There are millions of printers just sitting in waste. At least let our voices be heard for a 4 block radius around your house. I also left a little supply at each of the stores, eating establishments and any business I frequent. There is so much more each of us could and should be doing. Use what you have. Don't just sit and moan, "the national press" won't print anything.

Just my opinion and action,

Ed Ward, MD

rawk!!
if tv has taught me anything it's the media's influence over people's opinon's. the government figured this out a long time ago, and used it against us. Why is cannabis bad? Well they say it is on tv...so...
posting flyers is the ghetto way to get the point across...and a synchronized effort will be much more effective. I'm thinking next 4/20/05 would be a perfect time to "strike". please dont hurt me mr fbi i love you haha
