Stems â?? included in weight?

Iâ??ve noticed that it tends to vary from dealer to dealer on how much stems they put in their sacks. Some of the shit I got from the club was like really professionally done, like zero stems, no seeds, all little nugs of bud, etc. Sometimes I get a sack that looks like they broke a branch off the pot plant, dried it out and handed it to me. Tons of stems, seeds, etc.

My friend was trying to sell me some of his home grown stuff, and since I had the scale I called him on the stems. He said that the stems hardly weighed anything and that it didnâ??t matter. I made him take out the stems anyway. The stems came out to like 2 grams. Out of a quarter thatâ??s pretty significant.

But I mean, I can give my friend shit for including stems, but Iâ??m not always in a position where I can press the issue every time I get a sac.

So Iâ??m wondering, what do you generally do? Do you find it generally acceptable to receive a sac where a significant amount of the weight is due to stems and/or seeds? Would it be reasonable to ask a dealer to remove the stems before he sells me the weed?

Well, a few stems in a bag are acceptable, but two grams? Whoa. I think that's a reasonable request. How do you think he would respond if you gave him an altimatum to go easy on the stems or you'd find someone else? I've never had a problem with being dealt too many stems. Seeds are a different story - our schwag comes complete with a billion and a half seeds! Merry us.

From time to time I find the steam count in the weed I buy is higher or lower. I always buy from the same person cuz we go way back, like grew up together back, but usually when I do get steams its never enough to stop buying from him or anything. I wouldn't start nothing about the steams but if I was getting an overwhemling amount of steams from my dealer I would say something, if he don't agree with taking the steams out then I just won't buy from his anymore and I would warn my friends about it. If the dealer argues with the steam count saying its not much but really its a lot then don't buy it, 2 grams of steams in a Q, i'd say something, but not if it was just a few steams.

if u hav a regular dealer i think its ok to ask for a few less stems in ur bag the next time around just be polite. but man some of those random dealers u meet will try to sell u the left over junk....

Well try your best at avoiding them. Find a good, somewhat, reliable dealer who you can always get something decent off of, and work up from there.
