Best Drug You've Ever Taken

Just wondering what everyone else thinks is the best drug around, I've only tried coke and mushies, and obviously weed (but I don't really class weed as a drug) I didn't think coke lived up to all of it's hype, and to be honest I expected alot more from it, but mushies was good fun (i got them for free) check out my thread http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=37148&page=1&pp=25&highlight=shrooms. Also I've heard good reports about Eckys being alot better that coke.

Shrooms certainly gave me some interesting visuals and body sensations but no drug has put me in in a better state of mind than ecstasy. Nothing else thus far has made me feel so complete, free, alive, almost god-like.
The next best thing that comes to mind are the opioids, from hydrocodone to heroin I just wouldn't turn them down.

I've only done weed, ritalin, and NOS. I love my marijuana, and NOS is definitely a great trip. (Though it's getting very hard to find now.)

Ritalin on the other hand, sucks balls, in my opinion.

Not just because I don't like snorting shit, and because it doesn't give a hit. But also because whenever my friends take it, they just talk non-stop all night, about nothing. It's annoying....

Best drug I've taken ever in my life would be LSD, hands DOWN!

This was back in the early 90's when acid made a huge comeback. I would buy a hit for $5, and that would have me tripping balls for 12hrs easily. Cars smiling at me, the street lamps dancing...good shit.

I did LSD about a year ago now and what crap that drug is now. I pay $10 for a hit that didn't even feel like a mushroom trip. He told me, "take 3 and you'll be fucked"...3?!? Bullshit. I just smoke weed now and save more money. Coke, is crap. After hearing so much about it then doing it, I was dissapointed.

You people need to learn how to enjoy these drugs....they all have good points and bad points.

Ecstacy, if you're looking to get a lovely feeling and value for money that isn't necessarily addictive, but very good for partying/socialising, then this is the one to go for.

Coke, in my opinion works best as a background stimulant. The big problem is, it's addictive as hell(unless the coke you get is shit) i can get very good coke, and it's very moreish. At £35 a gram, i can't exactly afford for it to be moreish. You always end up wanting more when it's gone, this is why i use it in the following manner.

You're going out clubbing, i dunno about everyone else here but i don't drink an awful lot, and can't for that matter...without feeling lethargic and shit,(exactly how someone who smoked a load off weed and wasn't used to it would feel). Don't get me wrong, i can handle it okay, i just daren't get obliterated incase i cross that fine-line and end up puking. Coke is good with a few drinks, don't go silly, but then again you only have about 2-3 lines in a night. Get 2 mates to chip in with you on a gram, a line each every hour and a half doesn't half help the evening along.

Speed is good if you wanna stay awake for 2 days and chew your mouth to shreds.

Acid is good, be careful though...don't be a fucking troll.

Stay the fuck away from heroin, crack, aerosols, ghb, glue, etc ...

I was sitting by a tree just spacing and my mom had called in reporting me missing!! They took me down to cop station. My mother picked me up and interogated me like a fucking naztie........The trip was beautiful until the cops busted me!

other then that did more lsd, peyote, mysillisibin and lots of pshrooms during my hay day!! I'm an herb girl..................

I wouldn't know about today's acid, but I suspect that if what we had was around today, there would be a lot more people enjoying it, rather than x, DMX medicines, and other things.

As for lsd, the original "Orange Sunshine" was actually a substance called ALD-52, a chemical cousin to LSD-25.

I could get high (although not fully tripping-out) at least 8 times off of one tab, as long as I gave it a rest didn't build a tolerance. As alaskagirl said, you only needed about a quarter of a tab to really trip - but I'd guess that most people, myself included, liked to do more.

There was quite a bit of the "Christmas" Acid, another type of Sunshine, described in the article below one year, around 1970-71. Some of the tabs were red, and some green. A bag of 100 looked great, and it was excellent stuff! I believe that it was in the "barrel" form - and/or possibly similar to saccharine tablets.

After Owsley was arrested in 1967 at his tabbing facility at Orinda, California, his protege Scully set up a laboratory with Nicholas Sand, another alchemist long involved in the psychedelic scene. They manufactured a quantity of ALD-52 - a cousin to LSD, which they called Sunshine - in large crumbly orange tablets of 270 micrograms or so.

In the spring of 1969, Ron Stark, then a chemist with a European LSD factory and now a fugitive, allegedly began supplying underground acid to the Brotherhood of Eternal Love. Since the Brotherhood was also, by this time, distributing ALD-52, and since both drugs were tabbed into identical pills (except for a few early blue tablets of ALD-52), many people didn't realize that there was more than one kind of Sunshine. Many counterfeit versions soon appeared on the market, most of which were impure, according to Scully.

Sand and Scully ceased manufacturing, but Stark went on to produce over 10 kilograms (over 35 million doses in crystal form) of what became the famous Orange Sunshine - the last of which actually appeared in large red and green tablets called "Christmas Acid."

VERY INTERESTING STUFF THERE! I remember trippin one time and going to a kegger party out in the country, near some railroad tracks. Ha, that was 33 yrs ago! I was WAYYYYYYY.......HIGH!!! on ald-52. Somewhere along the line, I lost my shoes and was barefoot. I Anyway, I wanted to leave the party and I couldn't find anybody to take me home, so I walked over a mile on the railroad tracks to get home.

I didn't think about it till 3-4 months later, walking on the railroad tracks, and noticed where I walked was ALMOST SOLID, CUT, FRAGMENTED GLASS all along the tracks!! It was freaky cause when I walked home from the party, my feet didn't get bloody or cut.

Not exactly, because I usually did my tripping at home, or at concerts, parks, etc. But I did have some weird trips.

I went to pick up some African black gunge weed (aka "black wack") and a sheet of 100 "computer dot" hits of acid from a guy I knew that had moved to the lower east side of NYC to deal. This was around '72. I took a blotter before leaving the dealers house, and of course smoked some of the weed. The trip home was interesting - dodging speed freaks on St. Marks Place, having everybody on the train look dead, and eventually getting off at my stop. I bought a slice of pizza and threw it away (I recently found out that I've had a lifelong gluten intolerance and can't eat most pizza , breads, and other glutened foods - so maybe the acid was telling me somthing, lol).

Another strange trip was at a Captain Beefheart concert at Town Hall in NYC. This was around 1973/74, and his album Clear Spot had been released. I had been to the preveous yearâ??s Beefheart concert there, with no problem. I went with some friends, but we didnâ??t have seats together. I had been tripping all day on acid or mescaline, and took a tab of something for the concert. The audience didnâ??t like the music, and some people in the front rows were giving Beefheart the finger (there are reliable reports on the web about this concert by people who attended). The "vibe" toward Beefheart and his Magic Band was not good.

In New York, if an artist's audience was disappointed with a performance, they had no problem in letting them know. Beefheart said to his hecklers, â??You can do this (raising his middle finger), but how about THIS?â?� â?? and let loose with his harmonica. After the show I made it into the subways, by myself, where many people who had just attended the concert were waiting for their trains. In those days I was pretty shy, but I asked a couple â??Did you see what he DID?â?� I was still very much under the influence of whatever I had ingested over the past 24 hours.

I later found out that the â??themeâ?� of his latest album, Clear Spot, was ANTI-LSD! He didnâ??t say anything about psychedelics one way or the other at his concert, but I guess the music flipped me out because of the sentiment behind it.


This is not an acid story, but another time, in the early 70's, I went to a dealer's loft on the Lower East Side of NYC. I won't mention his name, but he's quite well known as an leading advocate of legalization and was very active politically in the 60's. I don't think that he deals anymore, though. My friend's friend (or acquaintance), an idiot from Jersey, started threatening to have the "Angels" (as in Hell's) take care of him ("ride their bikes right through your door!") because the resident of the loft owed him some money for weed (or hash). I took the person being threatened aside and assured him that I didn't know the guy making the threats, I was not part of this, and he just laughed.

I heard some incredible stories about the founder of High Times Magazine, the late Tom â??Kingâ?� Forcade, but I never met him or went to his large-scale dealing establishment. Some of my friends did, and one screwed-up weed dealer we knew was almost given a pair of cement shoes by King (as he liked to be called) for the alleged misdeed of trying to break into his safe. Forcade had at least one bodyguard - who once punched out Jerry Rubin in a NY diner for some reason. Forcade was also a smuggler, of "weight" - and there were some wild stories about his planes and cargo escaping the Mexian feds amid shootouts on the runways.

I was tripping with a friend at his house once. There was a painting of his house in his house on the wall. We sat and pondered on the fact that we were in there right there and then...another point of view, so to speak. The phone rang. I was so unfuckingsurreal trying to have a phone conversation with whoever was on the other end...we both tried...but finally hung up. It continued to ring...but! On to other things. Led Zeppelin cranked up to the max. My friend got the notion to tell me that he had killed another of our friends and left his body in the woods. He loaded a shell into his shotgun and began to threaten me with it. I managed to elude him for a short time and hide in a closet. It was dark in there except for a purple mandala that had opened up in front of my eyes. the music raged outside the door...but I could hear my friend;s voice above it. He continued to threaten me..."Y Y You come out of there ...or I'll B B Blow a F f f Fucking hole throught the F fucking d dooor!"...he told me. So I came out. He was in bad shape. He must have thought he'd lost me. A few minute later, in the kitchen, he was drinking water from a glass when he suddenly smashed it on the floor....and then began walking around on the shards with his bare feet...leaving blood stains everywhere. I wanted to leave...but when I got to the door and looked outside, the air was too still. It was too quiet out there. Nothing was moving...and all was lime green in the humid summer heat.
At Five o'clock, we watched Walter Cronkite...the T.V. volume maxed out in competiton with the stereo system. I kept a close eye on my friend....he seemed stable at that point except for some R.E.M.
