Can you make cannabis tea?

i made this shit one time, i threw some honey, voldka, and broken up weed into a pot and heated it then put it in a flask. long car ride the next day i busted it out and poured it in some tea. needless to say my girlfriend leans over and says "i can really smell it" lol her mom was in the car so that wasnt really too good. lol it never worked and i think i know why now. i think i needed to heat it a bit longer because it was barely on the stove before i took it off the heat and also, i hadnt eaten before i drank it and i always get the worst cramping stomach ache thing if i drink on an empty stomach and i did so that would prove to me that the alcohol didnt have a chance to boil off. i read it somewhere online, im sure it would work if you heated if for long enough. peace

you dont need alchohol to make it... just make it like normal tea... you have to boil it quite a while to get all the thc into the water tho.

add a little honey and you got yourself some TeaHC

as i remember it, thc is not water soluable so boiling the shit out of it wouldnt change that. have fun destroying the thc and the other psychoactive chemicals when you boil it for a long time. thc is, on the other hand, it is soluable in alcohol, like most things. so the alcohol is a good idea because the thc will release into the alcohol, opposite with water.

So would you boil the alcohol, or is just letting it sit in the alcohol good enough?

I'm not sure I would ever try this with weed, but maybe I could use my collection of stems and resin to make some.

here is an excellent recipe (i just made some myself an hour ago and am already feeling the effects):

1) empty out a tea bag and replace with 1-2 grams of weed. staple it back together so it works just like a regular tea bag, no rips or holes.

2) boil one cup of water. once it comes to a rolling boil, add 1/2 tablespoon of butter *note: this is the most important step, if you do not add butter the thc will not be dissolved into your tea!*

3) put the tea bag in the water, add a cup of milk, and leave at a low boil (covered) for one hour.

4) after an hour, add 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract, other herbal tea bags if desired, and cinnamon and sugar to taste. bring to a rolling boil again for 5 minutes.

5) let stand 5 minutes and pour. this makes about 2 cups of tea and will get you royally fucked up! i should be feeling the peak effects in about an hour, i'll post then with my experience.

i did it once. i dont know about the other methods that have been used (as shown above), but i did get stoned.

simply add the bud to some butter, and heat in the microwave till it starts to smell weedish (this releases the thc into the butter) then add both to a normal cup of tea... also if you don't want to drink a cup of tea that tastes like crap... i suggest adding sugar.... lots of it!
