Another drug testing question...

I'm 6'3'' 215lbs, work out 3 to 4 times a week.
I hit a pipe ONCE 2 days ago, and before then I last smoked 4 weeks ago, and before then... about a month.

So, will I pass a urine test in 9 days. If not.. what is the best techniuque to gurantee a pass.

sorry for you, but infrequent users will not clean up as quickly as frequent users.. one pipe hit will probably not stick around too long, but to be safe...

the best thing you can do is work out more than you normally do, eat more calories than you normally do, and don't work out for the last couple days before the test.. should there be any lingering metabolites by then, stopping working out the last couple days will make your body store fat, basically it 'buries' metabolites in new fat, blocking them from being flushed and therefore detected :)

take a couple niacin b12 pills every day (2-3) and drink lots of green tea (arizona or the like), cranberry juice and water. and keep workin out.

Don't worry about it you'll pass, and may i ask what this test is for i.e. sports, job etc. If you do fail and they find trace amounts of D9-THC in your urine you can just say i was around smokers but do not smoke myslef.

Thanks for the responses... I go in for the pre-employment drug screen on Thursday, Dec. 1st (2 days), that will make it 2 weeks from the single hit.

I tested myself on a home-kit test and passed. I bought the test from Walgreens for $16... how reliable are they?

Odds are if you passed the store test, you're ok. Most pre-employment screenings are more for looks than accuracy and they use the same methods and strip tests you can buy in the store. That's because for all of the feigned concern about hiring druggies, as opposed to say, alcoholics, they just don't want to spend the big dough for the GC/MSA tests unless they absolutely have to. That being said, if you are going for a gov job like FBI or cop, you might try to stall (I got the flu, my dog died, my ant farm tipped over, etc) for a couple extra days just to be safe...on the workout thing, don't change that at all. If you increase the workouts you will burn more fat that normal which will cause any stored thc to be released into the blood stream...or so I've heard. And if you're a serious muscle guy, make sure you tell them up front if you are taking any suppliments, as long as they are legal, just to be safe and pre-empt a false positive.

quit smoking for almost six months, smoked a joint one weekend, then a couple bowls the next weekend, didn't smoke for two weeks, smoked a half a joint on a sunday afternoon and took a piss test 29 days later (gas chromatograph/mass spectroscopy) and FAILED! beware folks......you can pass an EMIT test (home drug test) with ease but if you are to take the GC/MS test be forewarned! that is a sensitive test so always remember to DILUTE! i got fired from a good job two years ago for failing a piss test (my dumbass!), i had always done the substitution thing but figured 29 days was good enough....wrong! BTW, i'm 5'7" and 195 lbs. fairly high metabolism at the time as i was a mechanic at a steelmill (lots of climbing, strenuous work and HEAT!!). so hot there you'd sweat bullets in january

Scares the hell out of me, I have a pre-employment test pending. I haven't smoked for three weeks now test will be in about two weeks at the earliest. I have great metabolism, exercise playing hockey and basketball 2-3 times a week. I am tall and thin (6-5, 200lbs) but I smoked every day before I quit. I am pretty sure it is a urine test if it is a hair test I am screwed.

As far as I know (and I know a lot about this subject) they always screen first with antibodies (EMIT/ELISA) for everything Coke, PCP, Opiates, THC, Benzoz etc and then if you fail there they run an extraction of your urine for that specific drug and then run GC-MS. I find it very suprising they ran GC-MS first!! They would have to either extract for every drug or have known to look for THC. Did they have a reason to look for THC ?? I find it very suprising you would have failed the initial screen after 29 days. Any one else ever run into something like this?? Failing a drug screen after 29 days clean??

just completed a pre-employment drug screen... the nurse told me it was a 5 panel GC/MS that will be sent to a lab and expect to hear back in no more than 48 hours.
I was clean for 2 weeks after hitting a pipe ONETIME... and clean for 4 weeks before that.
I passed a take-home test... but am now nervous about the more sensitive GC/MS.
I have a start date, paperwork is finished, and physical exam is completed... what is going to happen if I fail?

Hmm very worrisome it sounds that some places are now doing GC-MS screens instead of antibody screens. That would be much more expensive but more accurate (damn bastards).

I would be worried if I were you and I am worried for myself. I have taken numerous test and always quit for a month before and never ever failed. But I think they all were EMIT/ELISA type antibody screens and then GC-MS to confirm positives from antibody tests. Going straight to GC-MS is scary since it has higher sensitivity.

Because to think you would be clean after 31 days of smoking is crazy.

I think it is clear you cant trust the home drug test they dont have the sensitivity of lab test be it GC-MS or antibody based screens.

yea i didnt smoke for 31 days and it was an at home drug test that after was sent to the lab for percentages so it wasnt a bullshit test...i smoked like 8 blunts a day mostly to the head cause my bf wasnt smoking at the time...and it was ridicouls danky ass chronic for years...so it was gonna take wawy longer than 31 days

Because chronic users are much better at metabolizing the drug.
Its basic biology.
That said so many more things play into as well, quality/quantity, metabolism, weight is huge, and amount you exercise.

Add alittle water or bleach to it. If that doesn't work man freaken drink and eat your ass off that will work guarateed. It all depends on your matablizum. Ask some people it's a fact. I went to Rehab and crap

a friend of minewas being tested by his mom and i guess she took it into the doctor or something(wasnt an at home test).he smoked on a friday,drank and 1/8th cup of vinegar and ate a big ass thing of mustard, like a handful, and was tested on monday and passed. im not telling you to do that, but somehow it worked

I drank white vinegar when I was in the Military Police once to pass a test that luckily never happened. That vinegar made my stomach turn in knots and I passed out in bed sick as a dog! I drank an entire cup though....

Drug test update.... I passed the test and am now employed.

Soooo... I am an irregular user... once every 4 weeks, workout, and weigh 215. I did not try any passing techniques before testing.
