Yeah, you cant cross breed two completly different species, be it plant or animal so thats shit. ive never heard of the cron being laced weed, its just a type of really good bud. then again there is no slang dictionary (oh wait, the urban dictionary lol) so the same word can mean multiple things.

Chronic has two different definitions varying on your location.
East Coast: Weed (Marijuana) that is laced with Cocaine to give an added effect
West Coast: The finest weed available with no seeds or any shit
East: I'm feeling suicidal, lemme get some chronic
West:I'm looking to get some chronic, none of that crappy bullshit
Source: Madman, Sep 14, 2004
4. chronic link send redefine 38 up, 12 down
1.) One of the stronger strains of marijuana. It is actually NOT used to describe just any sort of good weed, there is a certain type, usually indica, that is labled chronic. It won 3rd place at the 1994 High Times Cannabis Cup.
2.) Marijuana laced with cocaine.
1.) "And a phat ass J of some bubonic chronic that made me choke. Shit this ain't no joke." - Snoop Dogg

5. Chronic link send redefine 20 up, 4 down
A type of marijuana. Chronic is grown under perfect conditions which makes the THC (marijuana's active ingredient) level go through the roof. This results in a much stronger drug and a greater smell.

7. Chronic link send redefine 21 up, 13 down
noun: Marijuana of very high quality.
adjective: Amazing, really good, etc.
Definitely does _not_ mean pot with coke, as someone said before here.
I have heard that the word "chronic" meaning marijuana comes directly from the Dr. Dre album by that name, and this may be true.
However doctors also prescribe marijuana for "chronic pain," and people with chronic weed readily available to them often do become what experts call chronic (or habitual) users. So those could also be possible sources.
Yo, you got any chronic?
This weed is pretty good, but it aint the chronic.
This party is the chronic!

WOW...way too many people don't know jack bout our beloved cannabis. IN 99.99% of cases chronic means good weed. Chronic is also a strain, which back in the day was one of the best. whiich is why people now days call any really good weed chronic. i suppose in some areas chronic could be weed laced with coke but it's probably just little isolated groups, who some dumbass started telling people it was weed laced with coke and that area just took to it. but hey watever im not the weed police. oh and also there is no way on gods green earth chronic is cannabis cross breed with coca plants.

chronic used to be weed laced with coke but its also weed plants crossbread with cocoa plants..
Holy fuck, kill yourself, kill yourself now. It will do the world some good.
Newbs need to shut the fuck up unless they actually know what they're saying. Chronic us just another word for pot, grass, weed, herb, etc...
You can't crossbreed two plants that are 2 completly different species. That's like getting a dog and cat to mate....it just won't work.

Chronic is slang for really good weed. It is also an actual strain that's won awards, some kind of cup. Some people call chronic coke mixed with weed but that's not really what chronic is.

You just described a hybrid. A mule is a hybrid between a horse and a donkey, for example.
It can occur.
But chronic?
Chronic is good weed. It has nothing to do with cocaine.

I started hearing the term "chronic" as a description for weed back when most of you were still in diapers. Literally. Back then in just meant weed that was top quality and had nothing to do with being laced with coke or anything else. Of course slang is different depending on where you live so who knows. But here in California, as far back as the mid '80's, it just means reaaly good weed.
I think a lot of these rumors start because a lot of people don't have access to really, really good weed. They're used to smoking something that takes two or three bowls to get them high. Then thet get something that someone says is "chronic" and after one hit they're seriously fucked up. So its only natural for the to think that the weed is laced with something else.

Well, I guess this arguement could both sides. Chronic IS very good weed, and that is what a lot of people from the hood referr it to as. It is also, crack with weed. Take even the STRONGEST weed, and put a lil crack in it. :P pure heaven! Ofcourse maybe they just do that here.

I don't want any crack in my weed!
When I buy chronic from my dealer I better not be getting coke!
