WHen making a slide can you make a song play for the whole of a slideshow? All i can do is make it play until I click to go onto another slide.

Can you embed it in the slide master and not an individual slide? Or you could do it on file open in VBA?

What you have to do is insert the sound on the slide where you want it to start. Then rightr click on it and go to "Custom Animation" Then where it's listed in the tab on the right, right-click on that and go to effect options, just change the settings for when you want it to stop.
