24-48 hours in hydro then the stress is to high, in dirt I would guess about a week or so but that's just a guess. There are many factors in dirt that can extend or shorten that time.

What he said.

Some things to consider would be the temperature of the grow area, humidity and size of the pot.
Personally, i can't go 5 days without watering my plants..but they're also almost 40 days into 12/12...so...

It also depends on the size of the plant

Is there anyway to rig up some type of slow drip system? Just a thought!

A passive wick system might work. Nylon rope in through the mix, through the bottom of the container into a basin of water. You might be able to extend the watering period that way. OR, have friend water while you're away. Although I don't trust enough people with my girls to let anyone even know that they're there . . .

You can buy a drip system from the store and set the timer to water while you are gone. It's easy with just water but if you need nutrients there is a tank with a siphon attachment that can mix the nutrients for you to feed the plant while you are gone. I would just stick to the water it's only 10 day's.

While your away for days or weeks or for everyday . Yes you can add plant food and ferts to your tank or container and it will work for you. 5$ can. for each plant.
