"One hitter Quitter" real or myth?

In my youth, i heard yarns of a mystical substance called "One hitter Quitter" This was supposed to get you blown in only 1 hit. Well into my adolecense i noticed that this seemd to be more of a myth, than a truth.

So tell me, does 1 hitter quiter exist, or does it not exist? If so, how do you get it, what strain is it? Do you have to marinate it in haze oil? Lets bust this myth!

I think it all depends on the person as well. You get a smoker who's been puffing for 2months, get their hands on some really great weed, claim it's one hit shit, but then you get a smoker who's been smoking for 2yrs, smokes the same stuff, but is NO one hit shit.

I've had stuff that was like a 2 hit shit. Then again that was when I was new to smoking, so, I don't know, I'm rambling.

The only stuff of that sort I've smoked was a rather potent strain (perhaps Northern Lights?) smoked through a dry bong-- meaning massive rip and all the THC straight to the head.

However, I have a rather low tolerance, which is certainly a factor.

I've been lucky enough to smoke all out One Hitter Quitter one time in my life, where the weed was so potent I lost all control of my motions for 20 seconds before just feeling completely stoned... couldn't even take a 2nd hit. So I know it isn't a myth, but it is REALLY REALLY hard to come by... unfortunately... wish I could smoke some more of that stuff....

ill tell u lot a story....when i went over to amsterdam, there was ALOT of powerful strains, not very famous strains but still very powerful, mainly every coffee shop had a strong strain, like picasso's had 1 called picasso.......had one bong and i was almost out cold 4 a few hours..........amnesia haze, cnt exactly remember where it was from, either barneys, pink floyd or the grasshopper but omg that stuff was literally one hit stuff, me and my brother just managed 2 share a joint of it and we were asleep by 3pm lol :P funny stories but yeh if u go 2 amsterdam look for cannabis around 20-30 euros a gram, then ull soon realise how shit the weed is in ur area :P

Two or three days ago, i cant remember....

My friends mom had some bomb ass shit from new york (white and orange all over covered in white shit im tellin you, not (forget the word that means they put somethig in it thats not weed) and it was straight dank. We rolled a gram of it (all we had) in a blunt and proceeded to smoke. My first hit i took a regular hit, said "im high" and i was. I was blazed. Then i proceeded to take the largest hit i have ever taken in my life and coughed for about 2 mins straight. When i looked up, the world was not the same ever again. Was blazed until i went to sleep and this was like 4 and i went to sleep at 11:30-12:00.

Probably the closest thing i've seen is C-99 while the Bros. Grimm were still up and running. I grew it and it was completely resin covered even the leaves were better then some other strains buds. I still would not call it a one hit quitter though. It was so good tasting you wouldn't want to stop at one hit anyways.

ok well this doesnt really meet the specifications im assuming, but i made a water fall bong in which a joint could be placed in this small glass tube and used as a regular gravity bong bowl

but anyway i made the hole a little to small in the bottle so it took a long time for the water to all to drain out and when i looked up at my joint is had gone from full size to like a couple puffs before the roach, i looked at the bottle and it was light brownish yellow and i tried to take the whole thing in one hit but it took me another one to clear the bottle, pissed because this was my last joint, i vowed never to do it again but after my coughing fit i was so baked it was ridiculous

just to give you an idea i put a chip on my dogs back and he walked around with it on there for like 5 minutes and the entire time i couldnt stop laughing it was like i was still in my first month of smoking.

so yeah i couldnt even physically take another hit after that so smoking a whole joint of hydro in one bucket toke is a "one hitter quitter" for me if you ever get the chance to try this i recommend you do, the throbbing headache you get after is worth the intense high

There really isn't any way to determine whether any weed is "one hitter quitter" or not because no one has made an exact measurement of how big one hit really is. Therefore I could take one hit and 3 Sheets could take one hit and I may get stoned, but 3 sheets may not because his hit may not have been as big as mine.

I've only experienced one-hit-quit weed twice in my life. Once, about 15 yrs ago...it was a strong greenhouse-grown NL5, and recently, just a few weeks ago...a super-strong OG Kush that a friend's friend grew hydroponically using AN's super-expensive "Connoisseur" line of nutes. So yes, one-hit-wonder weed does exist. It's a combination of good genetics AND excellent growing techniques.

Salvia hits you fast and hits you hard, you can feel like you lose control, even consciousness for a minute (and still be walking and standing) depending on the X of the Salvia.

I tried it once, took one crazy hit, and that was it. Lasted about 3 minutes and then gone.
My friend who also tried it, hallucinated and walked around for a minute.

Tastes like sh*t, a very plastic taste to me. I don't recommend it. Stick with Natures Gift = weed.

Good herb will get you high after 3 hits or so.

hello. one hitter quitter. so many of these forums are so full of information gatherers, and suddenly the site no longer exists. the obvious jerks have paid informant motivating everything they write. beyond idiotic prohibition I now live under, and the facts make paranoia a smokable condition- I pray many more years of happy days enjoying this website. I have also had the pleasure a few years ago, of one hitter quitter: not that I would never want to smoke again; that I was pleasantly stoned enough after one toke ( one inhalation of whatever quantity my lungs could ingest), without the rookie coughing of rough lung burn- that had a lasting effect of more than three hours. with my tolerances already at a smooth level of regularity, because I had more than a few little grams: I knew each following day of enjoyment, that even if immediately after inhaling, I was not mind blazing amazing- if I would just wait on it for a minute or two: the one hitter was enough.

I don't think so myself. I've only been looking for it for 40 years and ain't seen none yet. 2 weeks in Jamaica, 2 TYPES of "jamacian" pot, ½ and oz of "jamacian" hash, brown and golden hash oil.... It was GOOD, don't get me wrong, but nothing I've EVER seen put down with one hit.

I think it all depends on your tolerance and mental state.

When I was 17 I had the chance to try Hawaiian two-toke. Not sure if that's what it is really called but that's what I was told. It smelled and tasted like fruity pebbles. At the time was the best stuff that I had ever had. After moving to the Pacific NW 2 years later, and having the stuff around here, upon my arrival back to NC for a visit 6 months later I realized that the "kill" was not very kill. I have had other stuff that tasted like fruity pebbles and it did not have the same effect. My dad came for a visit this summer for the first time in 11 years and the stuff that we were disappointed in and had to smoke more than one bowl or joint of, completely stupefied the piss out of my Ol' Man in just one to three tokes. After the nine days he was here he said he has never seen or smoked even one kind of weed like we had let alone 4 or 5 different kinds that was the most amazing thing ever. So maybe it's not really a tolerance thing but maybe just regional. Perhaps that Hawaiian two-toke was just some regular ol bc buds or something that someone had delivered or road tripped to score. But since we weren't used to it blew our minds.

My dad told me later that he couldn't even get stoned on the crap back home for like a month because it didn't compare hahaha. I told him with a grin "I told ya so Ol' Man" :thumbsup:
