Hey everyone!

I'm not so good with all this avatar stuff, and for the life of me I can't get it to accept my new image. I know it has to be max 100X100 pixels and 25.0 KB, but I can't get the pic to meet those restrictions! I've tried everything I know, but I don't know much about this stuff! (hey, at least i'm not denying the fact that I'm clueless!)

I'm sure there have been TONS of these threads in the past, so i'm sorry if y'all are sick of replying to these, but any help will be greatly appreciated and I will promptly smoke a fatty in your name.

Well, I was using photoshop. Is there a better program?

Lateralus: Thanks so much for the awesome offer! I'm at work now, (yes, I'm totally slacking off!) and the pic is on my comp at home. I was trying to fix it this morning while I was waking and baking.....maybe that was the problem?!

I can post it later on tonight, but If anyone wants to give me a quick dummy's guide I can rip my hair out in frustration later on this evening!

Yeah, i'd say you should post it when you get home.

Now i bet you can't wait to get back.. and such a long day left.. maybe lol :D

Plus everyone here that does good work on pictures (apart from me, i am master of Paint) seems to use Photoshop, so i guess that's a good program to be using :rasta:

Thanks for all your help guys! I emailed a buddy of mine who says if I save it as a .png it should be fine. I'll try that when I get home!

I'll be slaving away at work. Who-Hoo. Still A LOT of day left.
All i can think of is this :rasta:

It's all about "The Gimp", the open source and free alternative to Winblows Photoshop.
