I think it makes sense. It's not ANTI DRUG or anything, it just wants you to make your own decisions.

So if you think about it, I am ABOVE THE INFLUENCE because I don't let others influence my actions.
Yeah, I smoke weed, because thats what [B]I[B] like to do...beotch!! LoLzZ11!

yeah, i first posted about this.
absolute shit. i've been having one-on-one's with almost literally my entire immediate family lately about my lifestyle, and my habit with marijuana, and why i use it for a multitude of positive reasons. and they've been opening up; listening. it's wonderful.

Congrats, man. My family never even takes a moment to consider my side of the story-they hate the weed of passion of the christ.
Well, except for my sister, I get high with her all the time.

Yeah, that's a good point above about the commercials.
Although, I do love the anti-weed commercials. Fucking hilarious. It's like a trailer for Reefer Madness.

This is freaky. I was going to post about this earlier. I actually went to their website (http://www.abovetheinfluence.org) earlier today. It is pretty scary. Look at the tidbit on marijuana curing cancer. They don't even say it doesn't, they just pound home that it is illegal and "dangerous".
I hate these commercials because they conform to this idealistic Christian utopia that the Bush administration is pushing. Since when was it the government's job to enforce "ideals"? Perhaps a nod to or even a suggestion but enforcement of ideals? When exactly does this become religious fanaticism?

I like the commercials; their message is good (don't let your friends tell you what to do), but it's too bad they had to get marijuana tied up in the mix--especially because their anti-drug campaign is based on lies.
If you look at the site, it's a new facade on the same old twisted statistics.

Never heard of these adds before. I don't have TV right now so I haven't seem em but I love anti-drug add they're hilarious. Just like adds against tobacco all my friends that smoke get up to have a cigarette after they see those adds. The gov. can try to quash personal freedoms all they want it will never succeed.
