Thanks for the post y'all.

What I have learned in the last several months has been way large and I would have been in for a rude awakening without the help and input from the people on this site. Growing hydro is not as easy as it seems, and even with the help I have had it is still not a piece of cake but the basics are right here on these Forums, the rest is experience and like all good things that can only come with time.

And Zandor...... :stoned: what can I say that hasn't been said already a hundred times except your the man!! Have not seen many questions you have not had the answers for. Got nothing but good advice from you my friend and you give alot of time and ask nothing in return, My hats off to ya  !!

Mand your the lady, moral support and this forums sex appeal, always good to read your post and I look forward to them  .

Damn am I gettin mushy in my old age or what??? :o lol

well .... just a few more pix, (this is way too much fun) :D

Peace

I am having such a ball with my digital camera, now that its working, taking pix of my girls, that I just went right into getting a few pics of the Harley I am building. I know this is a cannabis forum but I just couldn't resist adding a few pics of my bike not quite finished but real damn close. After all what better way to enjoy a putt into the mountains. ;)

But to keep things on the subject I have a couple more pix of my grow to keep things kosher, lol :D

( Its a 1969 Rigid frame, pan/shovel {pan lower end}shovel top, everything has been rebuilt or is new. Bored out 2 over and will be running about 106 cu. inches(equivelent to a drag motor. Sums it up in one word.....FAST!

Thanks for lettin me share these pics
Bill :D

Sweet Harley Bill!! Mine is still a basket case and has been for many years. Looking forward to working on it next year now that I paid off the kidâ??s school bills. After Christmas bills I will have more money to play with by Feb, I should be done around May or June. We can go for a ride buddy; my wife can't ride with me anymore because of her back. Man that motor sounds great and looks very cool dude.

O-ya the plants are nice too. :)

My bike was a basket basket case, started it in December almost had it done in April but had a few parts that took time to get and had to reorder Pistons after putting motor together, had the wrong ones and they bottomed out. :( Thats when I got my lights and started my first grow , while waiting for parts lol. "parts is parts" :)

Zandor if you can use any help on your bike don't hesitate to give me a hollar . would be great going for a putt this next summer! Isn't that what its all about ? way kewl! :D

Latewood I play guitar myself, mostly just for my own entertainment, never been in a band but have goofed with it for 30 years. had martins, taylor, ovation yamaha etc. Get a Swing arm frame, LW, and have it powder coated, my only regret, having a rigid frame and not powder coating it but its a classic . Original all the way down to juice brakes and kick start. going to have to tie sandbags on my ass to kick it over, lol.yeah , my grow space gets pretty inaccessible near harvest time. :stoned:

Seem to be having trouble getting clones going. made a new cloner in a smaller container with three six inch bubble bars maybe that will help .Don't know what I could be doing wrong I am well read on the subject so don't know whats up.

Anyone familiar with Kush plants out there?

Oh one other thing , can anyone advise me on how to get the smell and taste of back into dried buds(or keep it in them)? My buds are good buzz and most smell great if you pinch them thensmell them but they should smell good when you open the bag and don't. Even the real stinky buds loose their smell , any suggestions??

Thanks everyone,
Bill :D

Can anyone guess what the air cleaner cover is ??? ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! nope,..... Its off the lid of a waffle maker, lol :D

I work with exotic woods the gascaps are birds-eye maple andthe dash is redwood burl and myrtlewood.

latewood

put your dried buds in a mason jar, I think this might help keep the smell, less airing them out, like in a bag...

On the scoot report...got a friend who lost his bike, but got it back. Meanwhile he started piecing another together, well now he has an extra frame and I have dibs on it.
...seeing yours gave me a hard on for getting my Ass back on the road, thanks man

...On the music tip; I have played my entire life, done some semi-big concerts with big/or burnt out headliners and I made a couple trips to Nashville, and I can claim the title "Nashville Recording Artist"...they told me I was to 'Rock and Roll' for Nashville...
that same year the Kentucky Headhunters won the horizon award for best new 'country artist'...imagine that...later.lw

Well well well... weed, growing, bikes and music... I guess all we need is some talk about women! LOL!!! But Z and me already have that covered on another thread,,, with all our nitpicks of our respective women's house decisions.... LOL

Let's see... Bill, good one on the new camera. Keep playing with it!

Plants.... KICK ASS. Kick ass kick ass... !

Bike... I like Hogs... but I'm inclined into the plastics.... plastics = speedbikes. I like something like a Hayabusa, new R1, or a wild GSX R1000... or, a Ducati 999.... yeah turtle... dream dream dream...

But carry on my friend... As I said, I'm more inclined to speed bikes... but I liked a part of what you said... 106 cubic inches... hehehe... Definitely, no replacement for displacement

Thanks for the pics Bill... I find much more interesting looking @ pictures here than reading other parts of the internet.

I've been thinking that these boards kick ass.... I mean, over @ Overgrow, those guys are freaking monsters... rude, in-polite, smart-asses, half-responses, etc. (ok, ok, these are 'generalizations'... not everyone is like that). I mean, just ask Garden! He hates those guys.

Anyways, these boards are really helpfull and friendly... lots of good friends. We need to spark that mega-spliff up soon guys! I keep on thinking that this is just getting better and better... I mean, as soon as some new guys shows up, we help him/her. If he's an asshole, he'll get his ass torn apart... we 'police' ourselves, so to speak. This is great! Because, it means, that these boards will never be like the ones over @ Overgrow... WHAT A GREAT THING!

Ron, Zandor, moderators, Bill, Rasta, Joel, Latewood, Wanker (I mean, Garden :D ), Mand, EVERYONE (sorry for the MANY MANY names I forgot), KICK ass work guys! Let's keep this up! :)

Love, hugs, kisses, and mushy mushy feelings,

Hello Bill :) It's lovely to see you're pics ;)
However I'm not going to talk about plants...........well you can only say so much about a plant, can't you ;) So if it's ok with you I'll tell you about my only experience with motor bikes :o

Well it was when I about seventeen, my brother had this great big one, it was called a kawassaki something.
Anyway he asked me if I wanted to go on the back of it to a run to the seaside (a place called Skegness), ok then I persuaded him to take me :).
Well we went with a big gang of his mates, all bikers.
Now Skegness is about a hundred miles away, so it was a round trip of two hundred miles..................I spent the whole of the two hundred miles with my eyes shut, clinging on for my life, I was terrified
When we got there I couldn't enjoy the place because all I could think about was having to come back home on the back of that bloody thing.
When I did manage to have a peep at what was happening we always seemed to be on the wrong side of the road going past all these blurry cars.

I've never been on one since and that's fine with me love ;)

Well Bill, that is my entire knowledge and experience of motor bikes :o .................just thought I'd share that with you :)

bye for now....................love mand xxx :)

you just have not been on a Harley taking a warm summer day riding through the mountains or along the coast. Taken it easy not being in a hurry(knowing you can fly but not,... lol). :D You would really enjoy it IMHO! There is no comparison to a motor bike and a Harley Davidson especially one you put the work into building yourself. Any time you get tired of talking about plants feel free to talk with me about any ole thing, I would enjoy that ;)
She sure is pretty though ain't she?? Pretty like you , not the same kind of pretty but pretty all the same :D Ask the rest of the guys , bet they all say your a babe!!

Thanks for the post, mand, nice of you to respond
Peace :D

I'll second that....

A costal ride, purring along in 4th or 5th gear... with the engine going potato potato potato potato potato softly (but with 'thump')... ahhh.... nice!

The first time i ever rode a motorcycle (i was 11) my rubber shoes melted to the exhaustpipe... :D

Hello Bill :) Well I was seventeen so it was a couple of years ago.............only a couple though :o :) but I'll never forget it.

Oh dear though Bill it was a terrifying experience, the bit that really did me was going round corners
I tell you what if our Mum and Dad had known how fast he went they would have hidden his keys, especially mum she would have "had kittens" if she knew ;)

I must admit you make it sound a little more gentle :) I think if he had gone slower I might have been alright but he was with all his mates and they were just showing off to each other

I think I know what a Harley is, there's a chap who lives at the bottom of our lane and he has got a great big bike, all black and chrome. He only takes it out now and again in summer but when it comes past it sounds like thunder...............my brothers used to make a screaming noise.
I'm sure my son said it was an Harley, to be honest Bill both my boys have had motor bikes in the past but they didn't take them on the road, they used them in the feilds and woods. The roads here are really far to dangerous for motor bikes, it's ever so busy :(

Anyway I'm just going to do an update on my journal and then I have my grandson coming around for the day. I happened to mention to my daughter I'm not at work today, so that was it "mum can you babysit".........typical :)

love mand xxx :)

 been trying to get clones to root,.....I have made a half dozen cloners based on information I have read , done alot of reading on the subject, and its not that difficult. I have tried making a few different ones and all following the basic principles and have not got satisfactory results. The one I am trying now I made with a smaller tupperware container(2 gallons at the most)w/3-6" bubble bars, water is Ph corrected with Olivias Cloning solution and I used Olivias cloning gel and powdered root starter(Shultz). Can anyone give me some advice or suggestions? What am I missing or doing wrong??? :stoned:

Mand- You would enjoy it on a warm sunny day I'm sure. I can tell your just the type of gal that would. And well,... if ya got scared , guess you'd just have to hang on real tight lol :D . I'm going to visit your journal and see how your plants are doing, c-ya there lol :D

any input on cloning would be appreciated,

Peace,
Bill :D

Anti-Wilt is what you are missing Bill. The idea with Anti-wilt is to soak the whole cutting in the mix. This will give the cutting a chance to root instead of drying out. You do not need a humidity dome if you use Anti-wilt. The cloning gel and powder are a mix of the same thing you only need one or the other.

BILL THICK
11-22-2005, 10:48 PM
sORRY DIDN'T MENTION IT BEFORE BUT i HAVE BEEN USING ANTI-WILT AND THAT HASN'T SEEM TO DO MUCH TO HELP THEM, ROOT
OOPS SORRY ABOUT CAPS
I have about 40 in my new cloner (the smaller one) and only five have started to root. perhaps in the next few days there will be more, but should be a much higher success ratio, aye??
Thanks for the response Zandor, ohh by the way can you fill me in on where to get those dripper risers? Thinking of going with a sog but first have to get my clones happening. hey that Smoka cola strain is pretty good , nice buds what do ya know about Kush , kind of different aren't they?

well, don't want to overdo the questions , thanks again for the help
Peace, :D
Bill

latewood
11-22-2005, 10:56 PM
yeah that is right, what he said, and make sure the fresh cut stems are above the waterline, so they can get oxygen...you just want to see the bubbles popping and wetting the cutting that way...and it work's...did you see where my cutting I took 2 weeks into flower rooted in 8 days  putting it right into netpot with hydroton, after scratching it and dipping it an inch deep in Schultzrootpow... and if you want an immediate anti-wilt...I use miracle gro leaf shine...got mine from wally's, it does the same thing and you can have it in 20 minutes...well assuming you live somewhere that doesn't have a hydro store on every corner :p
I love this cloning thing, I will always be flush now that I have a BBjack mother :) as well as a Misty blue mother :D
and 9 clones going into day 3 veg  lw

LATEWOOD Doing the same routine, as matter of fact followed your post awhile back when you made cloner along with post that Z explained how he made his. That's why I'm puzzled, should have clones coming out my butt. What do you use to hold your plants in your net pots ? Just the Hydroton?
