I have a female that is about 4-1/2 weeks into flowering. I'm using a closet setup, with 400 watt h.p.s.. My problem is that I don't know what strain it is and I've read that I should start looking for the trichs. to turn an amber color about the 6th week of flowering; however, as I've stated, this is midway through the 4th week and some of the little buddies on the offshoots have more than 50% of their stigmas turning red and dying back. I have also red that some buddies mature faster than others, especially when under artificial light. The buddies that I'm concerned w/ do not really seem to be producing too many white stigma, if any at all. Others on the same plant seem to be doing as literature has led me to believe. My question is: Should/would I be ok to harvest the few ones that appear to be mature or to wait until the trichs. turn amber as well as the stigma. There does appear to be a couple white hairs growing (from the bottom) of these bud sites, when I say a couple, I mean a couple i,e. 3 or 4 @ most.
If this is odd, what could I have done to cause premature development? I try my best to not even touch the stalks, when inspecting for mites. I have good circulation and temp. (72 degrees on avg.) thank you for your time, please help .-- dangerousmathed1981
