Thought this was pretty cool, dont know if you guys have already seen it not not:
LOWRYDER
Auto Flowering. ??Cannabis lowryderus??
Lowryder is a new variety of drug cannabis with unique characteristics.
Aptly named for its low profile (both literally and figuratively), Lowryder was developed for extreme rapid growth (life cycle is 8 weeks from seed to bud!), uniquely short height, and amazing versatility.
Passing directly from the seedling to the flowering stage, Lowryder altogether does away with the vegetative growth stage, in a process we like to call autoflowering. In other words, you plant it, it sprouts, grows a couple sets of leaves, then immediately and automatically begins flowering (males at about day 17, females at day 20). As a result, it is the quickest, most compact, and most easily concealed plant available.
Autoflowering: A Revolution in Cannabis Cultivation
Indoors, Lowryder completely eliminates the need to induce flowering by reduction of day-light hours; indeed, it eliminates the need for a timer, period. It will grow consistently well and finish under 24 hours of light, from sprouting to harvest, in eight weeks, although you can achieve similar results with 18 hours of light per day, if you like to give your room time to cool down, for example. The point is, with Lowryder, there is no need for a change in the light period to induce flowering, nor is it necessary to have separate vegetative and flowering rooms.
Outdoors, Lowryder can easily be kept concealed because of its small size and early flowering, whether planted in fields, in gardens, on patios or even on windowsills. When planted in the spring, it will produce ripe bud earlier than any available variety. It can be planted, grown and harvested several times per season (in one??s backyard for instance), without attracting undue attention. Due to its lightning-fast life cycle (8 weeks), Lowryder can be planted up to early August. It can be easily and successfully grown in the most unlikely locations, from Alaska and Canada??s Arctic (Lowryder will flower and finish in the continuous light of Arctic summers) to the urban apartment balconies of the world!
Having no vegetative stage, Lowryder can??t be cloned or regenerated, for all intents and purposes. Replanting seeds is a must. But then, this plant??s unique advantages do away with any reason for cloning in the first place. In any case, seeds are easier to transport and handle between two countries or parties ?? Lowryder seeds in particular are quick to germinate and have a high success rate (germination approaches 100%).
To complement its unique characteristics, Lowryder??s final appearance, taste, and high, have nothing to envy of the finer weed varieties, an excellent smoke with high potency and amazing resin production. You almost have to see it grow before your own eyes to believe it, but the proof is here. Lowryder is stable and reliable in its properties, a product of nine generations of selective breeding, and is non-deviant and hermaphrodite-free. Lowryder claims direct descendance from superior William??s Wonder and Northern Lights no.2 indica, as well as a more exotic, virtually unknown short variety believed to be descended from ??Mexican Ruderalis,? an experimental cross created over 25 years ago.
Lowryder??s unique genetic and practical advantages insure it will find an important niche in the world of fine cannabis, as well as the medical user??s backyard pharmacopoeia.
I found this strain on Marc Emery's website...
www.emeryseeds.com
You can get lowryder at www.treatingyourself.com for $40 usd. Or lowryder crosses from Mdanzig for $20 usd at the same site. Look for seedbank at top of the page inside the forum at that site

Emery is a rip off. He charges way to much for most of the strains that are available to him.
*Personal opinion.

Well the minute i saw it I ordered from Dr.C and at a lower price than the 40.00 but you can count on as it picks up it will go back up in price. Even now when I ordered they were out and had a bit of a wait to get them. But i feel it is gonna be worth it.
Im moving soon and dont want to start them now and have to deal with the problems of moving a working Water Farm or a bubbler, or a 10 hole flood and drain I like to keep my options open as far as how many and what size i can deal with! But Im gonna try them real soon and i hope to hear from any of the growers here that get the experience b4 me?
I also got a great shot at some female white widows at a GREAT price and picked them up for G.P clonning and for the fact that it also is a great lil plant with lotsa potential. The only thing i have heard about the lowryder was that the germination of the beans was not that high % wise but im gonna see. Best of luck and may it be green and tasty.

Hello,
MDanzigs crosses are not 100% autoflowering. They are probably around 50-60% autoflowering. They are still smaller than a regular plant for sure, but get a bit bigger. He is very open about his strains. He does not try to hide breeding info like some pompus seed banks. Feel free to PM him over at www.overgrow.com. He has always answered all of my questions.
Hope that this helps.

Ok first of all klozitking.com has great seeds for 19 dollars a 5 pack. I have been experimenting with lowryder for the last 6 month. they have grown them every way possiable. they are on my last leg of experimenting. I will release all info shortly. I have tried many different combinations. I can tell you that i have found away to get them to yeild 3 oz in 7weeks. thats all i am saying for now. I have taken that method and em trying a slight twist .If this works i could yield more. if not i am gonna leave well enough alone. and share my secret. then again maybe i dont know as much as i think i know. I am always open for sugestions.
100 lowryders grown twice a year can profit 30,000 a year. sombody should do it. thats with 50/50 male female ratio

Okay, so I bought 10 seeds for $50 in Canada. LowRyders from www.hybrid.net (That website was on the seed packages). I germinated them, after 3 days it had a nice 2 - 3" root with the head looking like a bean sprout, so I planted them in the rockwool and turn on the hydroponics system and put 24 hours a day 430 Agro HPS lights on them.
After day 1, the inner leaves were starting to show, they are very small but you can definately see them. The color is lime green/light green.
After day 2 (present day), the roots have gotten longer and has almost grown past the bottom of the rockwool.
Here's my problem/concern, the color of the leaves are light yellow but the leaves do not look like they are wilted. But the plant isn't green anymore.
Please HELP! What am I doing wrong, can I save these Lowryders?
Please respond ASAP in case there is a solution so that I can save my plant.
Please email me or respond:

Thanks Guys!

After breeding my own seeds of LR X LR , its been the best harvest to harvest times of yieldings that no other strains ever did so fast. Its a harvest every month along with sprouting some up in between now. just love LR

holy shit nice man you have the same exact little 4" green pots I have, I suspect you transplanted into a 5qt? that's what I'll be doing.. what was the yeild and how much light was she getting?? i was planning on a week 3 transplant.. when did you transplant yours?
Bspectral

I did the LR in the pic seeing 18/6 . The female LR like a bigger pot after week 1 if u didnt start them in one already , then 18/6 them and they grow taller and bud . After flowering starts(which may be in week 2) go 18/6 to 20/4 until harvest . Crosses not need so much light from growing sprouts , 12/12 to 14/10 does nice buds for them.

U'l have some autoflowering before 20 days some after. Taller ones will most likely be males. And I'v used just 4 - 40w X 48'' growbulbs off the starts , then the flowering room has a new 430w Hps ,+ 8 - 40w X 48'' flouros , 4 on each side for side lighting for 750W altogether.

You can get lowryder at Treating Yourself (http://www.treatingyourself.com) for $40 usd. Or lowryder crosses from Mdanzig for $20 usd at the same site. Look for seedbank at top of the page inside the forum at that site
Where do you go to order seeds from this site? I've looked it over and I can't figure it out. Can anyone help? It'd be appreciated.
