New people here asking all of the members if they can get weed for them? I've read quite a few posts lately just saying "I'm really dry can someone please help and let me buy some weed from them?". Cannabis.com features Message Boards, not an underground online weed store. Anyone else getting a little fed up that new people are coming on specifically to try and get weed... Do they think that we'd really sell them any, us not knowing who they are, them having only a small number of posts (I've seen it with most of the users having under fifty posts) and marijuana being an illegal substance. Anyone else wanting these people to go elsewhere if all they are going to do is try and score weed?

People become members of forums just to meet people in their area, especially if they're displaced and don't know anyone.

I'm pretty sure its just people being naive rather than anything sinister, unless I really got to know someone well (as well as you can over t'internet) I wouldn't even want to meet anyone nevermind sell them some bud.

I'm pretty sure its just people being naive rather than anything sinister, unless I really got to know someone well (as well as you can over t'internet) I wouldn't even want to meet anyone nevermind sell them some bud.

Your loss, i guess. I'd love to meet people off of here, and will do one day. To go one step further, i'll let them smoke up with me! :D

CASE IN POINT: A Hurricane Katrina evacuee was searching for others to meet online, in Hampton Roads. He met me through Cannabis.com and I learned that his nine-year old daughter's Mother is not the girl I'd just seen, while I was putting my guitar in my car.

I guess, the hurricane kind of changes things.

He's not my dealer, nor am I his, I didn't mean it like that.

Well, maybe that came across a bit strong, I wouldn't like to meet some random guy, I would like to meet people who I've actually spoken to properly.

sorry beachguy I dont get that last post. I wouldnt meet anyone on here who had under a thousand posts or so (I guess I wouldnt meet myself then). I wouldnt sell to anyone off of here, well at least the first time I met them. and the first time I met them I just wouldnt bring any pot. that way if they were cops I am in the clear.

People need dealers, and they need to stick with them...I agree...good post.. :thumbsup:

But when it is a noobie, and when i say noobie I mean less than 30 posts, and most of them is just trying to get a hook up, it can be a bit annoying. It's like someone coming over to your house to, as they would say, "hang out", and sit there and dont try to really communicate or sometimes they dont even speak to anyone and you know that they are not there to chill with you theyre just waiting for someone to pack one up and pass them a hit...you know tha type. The ones that come over, sit down, shut up, and theyre not even interested in the convo, you know what theyre there for cuz their eyes never leave the ganja thats being passed.
