So Storm, happy now ? You notice that it's a SOG plant. Compared to your grapefruit previous grow, do you think that GF is a SOG plant also ? What is the biggest yielder ? I don't know what to buy for Xmas, i'm looking for a big yielding strain, that stays short and squat and SOGgy. AK47 is not so interesting to grow in fact...
Anyway, your bitches are sexy...

PS : you did not mention a lot regarding your Easy Bud. Disapointing ?

fhydro - If you are looking for a short plant with a quick finish look for some "Top 44" it's a commerical strain and finished fast, very, very fast.

SC they look great. You have done a very good job there dude.

The Kush will be fun for you. I have not grown a true kush in a few years. The last time was when I was growing KBS style and they got huge.

You are going to like them, how much did you pay for those kush seeds?

ROFL @ cnd411 :)

I'd say the SS is more of a SOG plant the way the side branches reach almost the same height as the main kola. I do tie the main kola down a bit to maximixe exposure to the light and keep it from touching the glass lens of my HPS. The grapefruit seemed to have a massive main cola and good (but not as good) side branches. It would probably benefit from a topping job. My growing conditions were not as fine tuned though as they are now.

I think you should try a new Femaleseeds variety. Like I said they are releasing new crosses now. Email them and ask for a sample! They sent me 40 HP seeds just by asking.

I think the Easy Bud would have been awesome if it didn't get a bit crowded by the Grapefruit. It is a short, fat, heavy branch bitch. Definitely a max yielder. Mine spent most of it's life in the shade of two GF though.

Try Grapefruit Fhydro, you won't be sorry. I would veg for no more than 3 weeks, and top it too. The smell is low, they are strong and not too sensitive to poor conditions like heat, cold, nute burn, or lack of nutes. You'lll thank me!!!

SC : You will have your 9 ounces ! How would you describe the high of grape fruit ?
Zandor : I know that strain ( only the name and fame ) but i've been told that it was not a terrific weed to smoke..but who knows ...

I would describe it as an up buzz, energetic, habit-forming....hahaha. It's hard for me to compare. I always get wacked after a joint or a big bong hit anyway, unless it's mids or less.

FhydroI agree, but it's a quick 200 an oz sale.

Realy how many people that you know or may provide medicen to that really know the taste and difference? I know a lot that will tell you the exact strain and history but 90% of them have no clue.

It's quick very quick.

I can't compare with my grow, but they seem to be fluffier that mine. Good results anyway. I tested the seeds i had with self pollination of skunk special. They all sprout. I had in that moment in the same grow room a nirvana afghani female and she has been pollinated by skunk special. I tested those seeds and they all sprout also. Maybe a good strain. Next strains to be grown in my grow rooms from female seeds : Northern Light, White widow, skunk special again, and neville haze hybrid, by 4 seeds pack. My Xmas present. Maybe you will trade with me some Hash Plant seeds...

Hum, I forgot grape fruit. I've got a question regarding CO2. How much CO2 do you spend, by month for instance, in average. What kind of CO2 tank, capacity, have you got?

I use a non-traditional method of co2 injection with my setup. It is a constant "drip" injection that is set on a timer to be on when lights are on. Since I have constant intake/extake airflow which is neccesary to keep the heat down, I have to constantly emit co2 to be effective. I use about 20-30 lbs of co2 per grow but for me it's free, I get it at work.

If you have the kind of setup where you can shut off the intake/extake for a little while, without having any heat issues, then use the traditional method of using co2 (with hoses hung above your plants). You will conserve co2 this way. I have to constantly "drip" co2 to my plants or they will never get it.

It's better for you not to pay for CO2 !!! 20-30 lbs by month it's a lot of CO2, maybe you waist a big part...Anyway, what is your tank capacity, 1 lbs or more? I started my next grow with homemade seeds, skunk special and afghani x skunk special. 100 % germination, very stable for the moment, hahaha, they are 3 days. Pics coming soon!
