Ladies... how important do you consider the build on your dude? I like to stay real ripped but I heard of women who like lanky dudes. Any comments?

I dont like guys that look like body builders. I like them in shape, but not overly defined.

i like a man in shape much more than a man that isnt. plus, a beer belly really makes it harder to give quality blowjobs. since looks are so important to men in women, i think men shouls step up to the plate and work on themselves too. i would much rather sleep with a built man

I lift as well, but not for bulk. Since I'm a soccer player, we actually are required to go to the gym, I just go in a little more. I lift for strength, so I usually do specific lifts that target muscles I use a lot. I'm built (not huge), but I still have great agility and speed and am pretty lean. To be honest, it doesn't matter what my body looks like, as long as I am getting better/stronger. It doesn't hurt that it's making me look better though.

I'm sure if I didn't play soccer, though, I would want to get prettyyy built. Nothing crazy though.

I can't work out every day I'd fuckin kill myself from all the burn, I already do my routine once every other day and it's still pretty fuckin' painful. thing is since im younger my body can GET ripped faster but it's a bitch to maintain :( oh well what am I bitchin' for it pays off  oh and no joke i was 14 when i first started working out for real, two months later and ever since I been fuckin' huge. But you can't get too wild with the munchy food :rasta: haha

soccer players have amazing bodies... i remember when i used to play our team would just stare in awe of the guys coming off the field just staring at them, lol (hey, we were 14-15, gimme a break)
but yeah, defined muscles are super rad, not neccessary, but prefered

thats ridiculous, When it is expected of women to work out and keep up the same tone as men, then you can say that.

but its a little easier for girls coz thats not expected of you atall, girls dont work out or body build... but u think guys have to?! its a little different than applying ur make up ;)

p.s im probably just pissed coz im skinny. :\

actually swimming gets you in the best shape. i started swimming in the winter along with my weight training and baseball and it got me so jacked.

Yeah what he said, swimming is the best and most natural way to build muscle. Because your entire body is submerged in water, EVERY single muscle in your body is being worked as you swim around... The only downside is, not as much. So you're gonna have to swim a fucking ton to feel any burn at the end of the day. Working out is all about damaging and actually ripping the muscles in your body... After you've worked a muscle to the point of failing, you get "the burn." This feeling is your muscles simply healing... and like bones, they grow back twice as strong (Hence muscle growth). For example, I guage my sets and reps upon when my muscles fail.. 1st set: no problem, 2nd set: Things seem heavier 3rd set: I can hardly lift the bar on my final rep...

I *love* muscles on guys, but not steroid bulk. Muscles are yum, but if 4/5ths of their body weight is in their biceps and shoulders... that's just not good. Having said that, my boyfriend's not that toned, but I've been with him a year and a half, and still find him sexy. :)

I was pympn in high school cuz of my brolic. didnt matter what i said as long as i kept shyt cool. i'd work on my mma and also lift weights, fukk skool athletics, i'd bully the whole football squad. i'm latino so i got a pymped out tan when i'd lift outside in the sun, good for the body too. i knew a big time soccer whore, all up on theyre nuts with no hesitation, prolly blew the whole team, funny cuz she was christian, ended up goin out w/ her teacher the last month of senior year, nice lil slut.

i have no say, seeing as im not a chic, but i would assume that most like their guys muscular. Not like to the point where its gross with veins bulging everywhere even when not flexing, but atleast having a six pack and pecks.

myself, i love to work out. i get up in the mnorning and im sore as hell, my back hurts and my muscles ache... but then i get on my bowflex (gotta love bowflex) and go for about 30 mins and i feel great. it wakes me up fully and i can relax, the blood flows and my body is no longer aching.

i started about two months ago and now ive got good pecks, lats, bi's, tri's, and thigh's... still waiting for that sixer tho. most chix havent noticed yet but those who have are all over me. cant wait for summer to get here so i can go swimming and rake in the ladies. ill bring my guitar to the beach so i have reinforcements

I do 500 sit ups a day.
you know sit ups have been shown to do little or nothing right? it's all about cruchnes now =/ i'm almost sick of science...they say one thing, then 2 years later turn around and say the opposite... but atleast this i could agree on.... if i do 500 situps i'm out of breathe and my back hurts, if i do 500 crunchs (of course alternating them some to target diffrent ab groups) my whole stomach will burn, my back will hurt and i'll be outta breathe... if i had to choose between the two, i'd say crunches are doing something, where as sit ups are wasting my time.

i used to do situps all the time... but now i got bowflex and it has a thing on it to do them from a standing position with resistance. i love it cause it is much less painful while working my muscles twice as hard

he ant far off wrong, if hes a athlete. Average fat percentage is around 15 to 17% for men and 18 to 22% for women, as for athletes it can be as low as 5% but averages around 9 / 10 %

I say if guys are gonna work out, you girls better find ways to make your tits or ass bigger, giving that you dont already have them?

Im generally the biggest guy through out all my buddies, Im 5'9 and 240lbs. I dont necessarily have much of a build, but most of my weight comes from my upper shoulders and arms, I dont work out but I can sure 1 punch lippy motherfuckers, so I dont see the reason to go the gym. You like me for who I am or not at all, I could honestly care less.

Anything less than 7% could be dangerous, especially if you are 21+. 5% if you are a soccer player is fine, but 5% from tweaking too much.....you see my point. I got down to 4% working out and rolling too much. I started shivering in 60 F degree weather. I ate to acquire fat back, and now I'm 10-11%.

Girls make their asses bigger, and tighter by working out

Working out doesn't just apply to guys, I find girls who go to the gym very attractive. To each of their own. I work out because it feels damn good. It's just like smoking weed to me.

Alright well they do some, but not nearly as much as us guys do.

They simply do a few reps a day and maybe a run or two of 15-20minutes and apply makeup. We have to get ripped , we indure so much more then they do, but hey its all worth it in the end anyways.

i don't think that muscles (like big huge ones) are important, not at least to me. i mean, i like the kinda guy that doesn't look like he could kick your ass...but he could with no problem. kinda the dude you'd imagine to be sittin in the back of class, all quiet-like, and if you fucked with him you'd know you fucked up and...uh...yeah i'm rambling now :)

Actually you don't really lose the muscle, muscle doesn't diteriorate (sp?) that quickly. thats still a fuggin lot to lose.
