Its a really, really tough call. I'm probably going to have to say The Wall, just because its so long and has so many great songs, but my two favorite PF songs (Wish You Were Here, and Welcome to the Machine) are both of of Wish You Were Here. My favorites off of The Wall include "Hey you", "Goodbye Blue Skies", and "In the Flesh". And I can't discount the quality of the album Dark Side of the Moon, either. Not when it has "Time" and "Brain Damage/Eclipse".
Actually, I just remembered that Shine on you Crazy Diamond is on Wish You Were Here, so that album wins by a tiny bit.

I think it's really dependant on the drugs your on at the time! The Wall is a good all around party album while Meddle is the ultimate on acid!

Animals all the way!!!! Or Dark Side of the Moon.
Oh come on, "WISH YOU WERE HERE"? You might as well be listening to... shit, I don't know. Some lowest common denominator shirt like the stones.

Tough choice, depends on my mood. They're all good but I went with Animals. My all time favorite isn't listed though and that's Umma Gumma. The first disc is classic live psychedelic Floyd. The soundtrack from More is also really good, especially when you're stoned.

i was going to put ummagumma but i only had 10 slots, and ummagumma content is found on their other CD's

I don't even have to think about it.
Piper at the Gates is my favorite. I also like the early singles that were tacked on to the cd reissue.

I completely agree. Oh man, the live version of "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" is so amazing. ah.
The studio version is a bit difficult to listen to without some crazy chronic, though.

Tough one. Can't we just agree that Floyd is amazing and every album has it's own time/place? If you wanted to wring it out of me...
I'd be really tempted to say Dark Side of the Moon...
but I'm afraid Shine on you Crazy Diamond alone is enough to swing me over to the Wish You Were Here camp...

I went with Animals, but my true love is Momentary Lapse of Reason. 'Twas what got me into them, and will always hold a special place.
Plus, it has Learning to Fly, which is honestly the best song I've ever heard.

I love Animals, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall. I think Dark Side Of the Moon is overrated, and I think most of the other albums just plain suck except for a song or two here and there.

VERY HARD CHOICE, you asshole... just kiddin.
i went with the wall.
Fav songs, "another brick in the wall" all three parts(its no good unless you have them all). "Saucerful of secrets", "Money"
my most fav tho is "set the controls for the heart of the sun"... most people have never heard it or even heard of it... Gotta love that intensely pagan music... and the drum line is the most badass ever.(danny carey dont got shit on that song) also the lyrics are awesome. such a riddle
My has been "Wish You Were Here!!"
right on, brother! i also chose "wish you were here". sometimes i have the fear of becoming another pink floyd song...

HOw could someone say that any of the pink floyd albums were bad?? must be ignorance...... lol
I voted for meddle becuase really the only thing i have actually listened to on something. ( i did benadryls one time but passed out really early) I was rolling and it was great!
A really good album to listen to when you are rolling is Judas Priest Jugulator!!! and Death Sounds of Preserverance!! Particularly number 6!! Or whichever is the guitar duet

From the poll i'd have to go with Animals but where's Obscured by clouds? Division Bell? C'mon dude. Here's a link to a thread i made about this in June. Let's see how the polls compare. http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=20528&highlight=pink+floyd+album

Well Wish You Were Here, an absolutly mind blowing album containing the two greatest songs ever written, Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V are my favourite) and Wish You Were Here. Other than WYWH I love Animals, Pigs On The Wing whilst short is amazing, Momentry Lapse of Reason mainly for the songs Learning To Fly and On The Turning Away and Division Bell for High Hopes and Keep Talking.
In my opinion Dark Side is overrated, whilst still a great album (its a Floyd album how can it not be) is often seen as the pinicle. I also tend to prefer post Syd as I don't enjoy the trippier stuf as much.
Oh and just to let everyone know Pulse, the live DVD is out on Dec 5th.

i said darkside, but wish you were here is a close second. Darkside: Money, Time, Us and Them. WYWH: Shine On Parts I-V, Wish You Were Here. however, comfortably numb is personally my all time favourite song ever. Being a guitarist, i truely appreciate the beauty and amazingness of those two solos. the second one gives me goosebumps even when im sober. when im high... pure bliss.

I went with The Wall. I can listen straight through it and not get tired of it. But my favorite song is Welcome to the Machine on WYWH.
