light distance

areet iv'e got a four week old cutting under fluros it is about 4 weeks old.i want to put it under a 70w sodium for a few weeks but i am unsure how far light should be from top of plant.would appreciate some help thank you

Move the bulb up , then place your hand under the bulb, when it gets warm thats the distance min. to the top of the plant. The Rule of thumb with your hand :<)
