Alcohol or Drugs?

Alcohol is harder to take down... but i like the affects of alcohol much better plus it seems to last longer

With Drugs (weed) I dont like the affects as much as alcohol. I dont like feeling paranoid along with the slowness.

there seems to be some fundamental misunderstanding of what a drug is.

This is like asking if we prefer weed or bud.

But my drug of choice (well, in terms of most often used) is bud. I don't like the way my body reacts to alcohol as much, and I've got enough presence of mind to be able to dismiss paranoia. I actually like the slowness because for me, it's everything else that slows down. Or maybe my thoughts just speed up...

id have to say weed, i dont like the effects of alcohol, it makes me nauseas and dizzy :( where as weed makes me feel relaxed and sometimes it feels like your going really fast when your sitting still :D

Weed all the way. I tend to become an ass when I drink and I say stuff I shouldn't to people close to me. Besides that, I don't care much for the buzz, I get dizzy and I can't think clearly. Pass me a joint anyday.

Definately weed. When you are at your peak after smoking, try just relaxing on your bed, out under the stars, or somewhere where you have an awesome view of the city. When you do this, the heavenly euphoria feeling can get absolutely amazing. Alcohol vs Weed is no competition.

Well to be honest I've never been drunk once in my life. I had an experience about a year ago with some friends who got drunk, and we had to walk through the bad part of town late at night in the freezing cold.

Its a long story but I'll try and keep it short.

I had told my friends in the first place that we had to walk through the bad part of town and past a cop station just to get home, so wait until we got there to get drunk. Then I went into the bathroom, and when I came out they we're already drunk.

So I spent the rest of the night trying to get home, but they kept running out into the middle of the road and screaming, being idiots in every possible way. They wouldn't listen to me unless I yelled and when I did yell they acted like I was "being mean". Overall I've babysitted 5 year olds who were better behaved, and smarter.

That experience has since soured my views on getting drunk. I still drink on occasion but never get drunk, but hey if you want to its your choice. I know not everybody is as dumb as my friends were.

I like weed better than alcohol because it is way more casual. Smoking weed can be a lifestyle choice if you want it to be. You can smoke in the mornings, during the day, during the evening, at night, basically anytime, and still lead a normal productive life. If you did that with alcohol youâ??d just be an idiot drunk.

Also, you can smoke as much as you want with basically no negative effects other than maybe feeling a little burnt the next morning. If you drink beyond a point, youâ??ll either have a very bad night or youâ??ll be dead.

Iâ??m not saying that people donâ??t act stupid when they smoke, but at least itâ??s a lazy mellow stupid. A lot of people, when they get drunk, get stupid but itâ??s like a reckless â??I can do whatever I want to no matter what anyone else saysâ?� kind of stupid. Even one person like that at a party can really bring the whole party down. I have never observed anything bad come to a party from smoking weed other than maybe people passing out earlier than normal.

And the best part is how people can get drunk, do whatever they want, then just be like "sorry i was drunk" and they think that is ok? Maybe once or twice but some people just use that as some kind of unwritten law that lets them do whatever they want to when they are drunk.

What made you feel as though you had to be a dick in the first place? It's funny that you're aware of being an asshole, and you still do it. Why try to belittle someone else? It really doesn't make you look any better.

But yes, I prefer marijuana to alcohol.

I posted a similar thread and I really think weed is sooo much better- but I think its different for everyone. Mixing it up a little is good but I hate alcohol to a certain degree. I find it has the worst after effects, and you end up feeling shitty in the end but I never feel that bad after getting high- a little tired isn't bad. I also find I can be just as active when I'm high but I don't know many others like that! lol

thats exactly how it is in my grade. everyone drinks but if i offer someone a hit of a joint at a party they act all weirded out and are like" i dont do shit like that". this one chick i offered it to is kind of a friend of mine, but she didn't know i smoke until then. she was like "omg, are u addicted? you're addicted aren't you?" and then bitches me out about it, then proceeds to go get piss drunk and falls down the stairs

he drinks alot, and he says he likes alcahol alot more.He likes it so much that he spends around $100 a week on alcahol, even though he only will drink 5 times... yeah he drinks alot at once :-/

I prefer getting stoned to getting drunk, mainly because I like just chilling by myself most nights.. and it's more fun getting stoned alone then drunk. (at least to me) If I'm at a place where I have to be sociable, then getting drunk is the way... or take a few shots then a few hits, that works well too.

Too drunk = headspins & puking
Too stoned = feel awesome, pass out whenever

That's my reasoning.

hey, this is my first post. but about the topic yea, I prefer bud usually but i like alcohol at parties for two reasons. 1, it makes me more social and 2, i don't have to accept full responsibility for my actions because it wasn't me speaking, it was the booze. (it's horrible but hey, at least im honest.)

i have never thrown up or gotten a serious hangover in my life. the most i ever drank was 5 beers, a couple of shots of vodka, a big ass swig of something that im gussing was rum, and 2 things of mikes lemonade. i couldnt walk or remember anything and had apparently hooked up with about 8 chicks of which 2 were moderately hot. but i didnt throw up once or get hungover the next day.
