codeine? how long does codeine usually take to get out of your system? i have heard 24-48 hours but i have also heard that it takes 2-5 days also.

3 days max. but be sure to drink lots of water, go for a run and work up a sweat.

can it also depend on how much i took i didnt take it for a hight i took it cause i had a cough and im gonna get tested on mon and i olny took about two sips from the bottle.

It's an opiate and could be detected. I've heard of people getting a positive due to eating poppy-seed bagels. Is the If you do not have a prescription in your name, CYA by going to a doctor and have him or her write you a script for some - just make sure that the syrup contains real codeine, and not an imitation.

I knew this guy in rehab for Heroin, he got a positive drug test after taking codeine.
