I had 3 hamsters and they never kept me awake but they will make youre room smell and you gotta clean the cage. I've been looking for the same thing and i was thinking of adopting a cat, theyre big enough that you can play with them and not lose them and theyre smart too. my dog (family pet) *HATES* it when i smoke. she flipped on me when i came near her with smoke once so i never tryed it again. she hates it when i smoke cigs too along with one of our cats (the other one is nuts and hates every one, especially me). good luck, dogs are the best pets. fuck, i voted chameleon, but then i thought... nah. gecko. they move a hell of a lot more than a chameleon does, AND they usually have cool colors and shit like that. and they won't stink like hamsters.

chameleons are boring, i had the same decision to make as you so i went to the pet shop. gecko's you can actually handle more but it takes a while to 'dust' their food

i used to have a leopard gecko named scarface but it was boring so i sold it for 50 dollars.so i wanna get a pet that does stuff and moves around. anyway none voted for sugar gliders have you all even seen one heres a pic if you havent. there cool but cost like 300.00 dollars each.

gecko's can be mean. i forgot what kinda i had (it was a larger species i think it was like a takeyeko gecko or something, i know it' sstarted with a t, and kinda sounded asian) i only tried to hold it once, it bit the fuck outta me and made me bleed pretty bad (dont' understimate them, some have a mouth full of razor sharp teeth and don't like to be messed with) chameleons don't really do much, and if you want my advice i'd avoid reptiles all together (they all tend to get certain disease and die, and there's not really much you can do about it or prevent it, something that just happens, espeicially in iguana's) i have alot of experience with reptiles so i know a bit about them, i've had numerous anoles, few geckos, 2 horned lizzards, 3 snakes, 5 iguanas..only the snakes didn't die from this mysterious disease. i've had hamsters, rats, feeder mice, birds, fish.....best pet i would advise would be sugar gliders (atleast if you plan on holding th is pet) hamsters stink (you can clean that cage and within 3 days it smells like piss again >.<) and they chew like fuckin crazy and it will drive you nuts.

man hamster. the smell will cover up the weed smell. and if they keep you awake all night then you can have more time for toking. these are pluses if you live with your parents. plus you can like feed him seeds and stems and shit. i dunno, whatever you like better. it is your choice, but a hamster would be fun for me.

Don't get a suger glider. My girlfriend has 5 and they arn't that great. They stink, they make wierd noises, cost alot, and get boring within a couple months...like other pets.

Dude, it's all about the pet skunk! You can get them with the smell glands surgically removed, so you have this kickass skunk that just waddles around looking badass in its black and white.

They take some work, though, almost like a ferret-- you have to walk them, play with them, etc. on a regular basis. Well worth it, though, IMHO. I'd love to have one, but my whole family is allergic to anything furry.

scorpions are cool, but even with the stinger gland removed, they will sting you and pinch you if you fuck with 'em so if you want a pet to get stoned with stick with the sugar glider, if you want a pet that looks bad ass in black light (a stoners best friends) get a emporer scorpion, they're cheapt o buy and raise, and to anyone considering getting any type of reptile as a pet PLEASE do your reasearch, they are alot more complicated than you think, everyone tells you usually all you have to do is keep water in the tank and feed them a mouse once a week but they are more complicated then that (snakes i'm talking about) and especially other reptiles, such as iguanas, they have to have a very specific diet that is hard to maintain, and any reptile has to be taken WELL care of, i know reptiles, i've had more than 20-30 in my life (only been alive now 20 years, and reptiles for about 13 of that) and i've learned about them alot. they are cool, and magnificent creatures but extremely hard to maintain, and i feel bad for those fucker snake skinners/alligator skinners that skin them for their skin >.< an dif someone is to take on any life i feel they should be extremely aware of how to take care of them. and being repitles are hard to maintain a healthy life i really would like if everyone did their research before owning them, they may seem easy at the begining but i can absolutely promise there is no getting lucky and if you don't it will end up dying within a few months.
