After a lot of thought, maybe there is something to this "cough-syrup" thing. Maybe Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is what we should lining up, at Mass, to swig after the bread. I apologize for the useless thread. :stoned:

cough syrup isn't the "blood" of christ though, are you going to be worshiping someone that's blood is cough syrup?

I don't know, someone who has cough syrup in their blood must be some act of God. :stoned:

the reason for the cough syrup is sometimes people are extra-sensitive to their spirituality. wine just gets ppl drunk so the priests can do their thing.

If Jesus had turned water into cough syrup, the people would have thought it was oil.

Nothing stops you from desecrating any "House of God." There are hundreds of religions with buildings proclaiming each one is the "House of God", but if you were to go through each one in the world desecrating each one, nothing would happen to you. If it was really "God's House", than God would surely strike you down for doing that in It's house. Wouldn't you kill someone if they came in ripping all your shit off the walls, fucking on your dining table, and all that?

i got an idea, lets replace the wine with a mixture of LSD, peyote tea, absinthe, psylocibib, and hash oil
then they'll all be seeing god
i wanna try that mix actually... just get rid of the acid and ill take 5

don't u guys think that maybe the whole sharing of the wine thing is just a little unsanitary?

No, because they wipe it down after every person.

do they wipe the backwash out of the actual liquid itself? Nope. bacteria love to cling to metal chalices. I swear.

Yeah, they place a sponge in the cup, after each sip.
I don't like the idea, either.

I'd rather share a sip of wine with a church-goer than share a joint or a blunt with most people, if I was that concerned with catching disease.
