This weekend I'm gonna be getting around half an ounce to an ounce (not quite sure yet) of weed. I was wondering if I could use a quarter of it to make hash and if that would be enough.

The reason I'm asking this is because I've been researching it and all the articles say I need to use the trimmings to make hash. I just want to know if using actual weed would work and if it would be better in the long run (such as not wasting a shit-load on nothing). :D

You can make hash out of anything with THC in it. Most people just don't use the buds because you might as well just smoke them.

If I bought half an O of some good high mids. And then crushed that all up to make and run that through a sieve and then collect all the powder and then press it togethor to make hash, would that still be economical or just a waste?

And if I did it that way, would it still be smokeable since all I did was get the trichomes off?

yeah man thats a waste for sure but not if you do smoke all the weed that didnt go through and roll a couple joints and smoke um all at once and its not that big of a waste.

i did it with trimmings from my buddys plants and from like an ounce i made about 2 and a half grams of nice hash but it wasnt 100 percent pure trichs cause it busted the weed up a little too much and a lot fell through but it was still pretty amazing hash still like 75% crystal

a quarter wont make you very much hash at all, and yeah you can still smoke the ground up weed and it would work just not quiet as potent. i think its kinda a waste though id say just wait till you can buy like a pound of shake for really cheap then do that
