i have 3 150 watt HPS light should i use them from start to finish or use fluro in beggining or just have the HPS in the whole time?

if you have flouros they would work much better for the first month as this is much healther for your little ones, but after veg stage the hps should come in.
i myself have never tryed germination with hps...
but i dont think it will make very much dif to your plants..so hps should be no problem, taking into acounnt that hps deal out larger amounts of heat.
be wary of this if you germinate under hps cause little canny plants like warm
not hot and if the bulbs are too close, they gonna toast your plants.

i put seedlings under 400 hps with the light about 3 feet away and with a fan on and the seedlings stretched, i think i read on overgrow that veg needs more blue specrum light and flowering needs more red spectrum.and hps is more red. now i always use flouro for the whole veggy time. with good results.....just an opinion..
