I have a slightly odd question, parents away so smoking in the house but I have no ash tray what should I use. Has anybody got any strange things they use for ash trays?

If you don't want to leave a trace, you could use the garabage disposal. Otherwise, anything that is small and shallow, like a bitches cunt... get it, i'm funny.

Don't you have any drinking glasses in your house?
Like a pint glass.. it can be washed and won't mark or anything :D

do you own tin foil? fold some out like an ashtray, when you're done crumple it into a ball and throw away.

a beer cap or bottle always good , those small plates for putting coffee mugs on just wash it when your finished, a jar

I use a heavy old glass funiture caster, but it's mostly to empty vaped weed into.

Cut around a coca-cola can about 1cm from the top all the way around. That's a fucking huge (deep) ash-tray!

That's a good idea, just gotta be careful you don't cut your fingers to ribbons when cutting it, and when knocking ash in there :p

a plastic soda bottle, or can. They work the best, swirl some water in there so the hot ash doesn't start a fire. if your worried about smell, take a regular pot add water and cinnimon and or vanilla, orange peels and put the burner on LOW. soon the whole house will smell so GOOD.

i use a can, a bottle, or make one out of tin foil, but now im using one i made in wood shop its pretty sweet

all of those ideas are great. I would use a glass cup with some HOT water and vanilla extract. like DarkOne said. it will take that smell away like no other. and stop the ash from smoking in the tray. but pretty much anything will work

I use a low-tech glass pipe (Eagle Bill's, it's available at a number of online stores). I got it thinking that if I enjoyed it I would advance to a higher-tech model. So far I'm happy enough with a candle and the Eagle. It's economic, doesn't smell and my lungs feel great.

a freind of mine would come over to toke. i would have an ash tray on the table in front of us, and he would ash on the floor. eventualy i would toke outside with him.......... BASTARD!
you can use all sorts of things in that pot-o-water, vanilla, and orange peels work the best, but fresh flowers, lavender, pine needles, even soap. enything that smells will work. great for covering up that skunk stank. you can make a smaller version to perdy up the microwave. bowl of water with orange peels on high for 5-7 min, the microwave wont smell anymore!
