Hi folks, of the 8 plants i got going one i think went hermie, looks like dry powdery seeds at the top, like dusty. Should i get rid of it? Is there any benefit in keeping this and will it damage my other plants. Thanks for any advice.Peace

Hi,

If i were you i would chop chop because the hermie will probably hide some balls even if you ''think'' you cut them all, trust me on that.. Having couple seeds on buds is not bad but, if you happen to have loads of sack of pollen to open then you'll seed all your buds and greatly reduce yield and thc production. Those seeds will all have tendencie to hermie plants so i dont think you want a next generation of hermie. ;)

Happy Growing & Good Luck on Prolific Harvest :)

to add to what mafia819 said any seeds produced will either be female or hermies, so you will end up with "femenized seeds". One of my 2 plants that I'm currently growing turned hermie on me but I only ended up with 5 seeds total.

Mafia thanks for the advice think i'll just pull the roots and all and my other 7 Blueberry plants doing fine but what jettazz was saying "Any seeds produced will either be female or hermies" don't i want femenized seeds? then my next grow will be all female. Correct? Is that how it works?
Thank You for the help.

Hi,

Remember this rule of thumb: Any Feminized seeds has a chance to go hermie, You need to avoid any kind of stress with those "feminized" seeds ie: light leaks, temp and sometimes unsufficient watering could stress and some plant can go hermie... it depends if the parents ( those plants that gave you these seeds ) are hard to stress or not because its in the genes of the new seeds created.. now you need to figure if the parent hermie that gave you these seeds has been hard to stress and hermie and after that being known, you decide if those seeds are worth growing or not ;)

Hope that help ;)

Happy Growing! :D
