Hey Late,
I did start a thread here for the adjustable pedestle we discussed. But, after some searching for parts, I found these nice lights. They are Sun System 48(only place I've seen them is E-Bay). They consist of 8-48" 55w t5 cfl mounted in a circular fashion mounted in an acrylic tube.May be mounted horizontal or vertically. They run around 330.00.Any thoughts as to if something like this could be fabbed?I will buy 2 of them in Dec,after I get rid of this harvest.Iwould really like to run these across all rows of my plants for side lighting.

...here is a shortcut to the light system you mentioned...this would not be enough light to grow big buddage...imho, Maybe I misunderstood what you wanted to do...
1. How big is your planned grow?
2. How many plants do you want to grow/how many seeds are you going to start?
3. do you want high yield or just want to grow some good pot?

Lol, I've been doin this since '86. These are intended for bottom side lighting. I would use6-8 of these. I have a multi-room grow, with main flowering 7x7x7. 2 x 1000w are used for flowering, co2 , etc. Looking to peak my yeilds out.I want to see if I can get near Hydro yeilds using soil. I know, I won't be able to duplicate them, but the ease of maintaining all this is worth the reduced yeilds.Although, Zandor makes a good case to run hydro :smokin:
