undefinedHow many of the over 40 crowd have kids that are straight? Their friends all think you're cool but your own children think you're a joke, or worse yet try to nark you off. Anyone else out there with this problemo?

No, he smokes but his kids don't. And they don't like him smoking, so he runs the risk of having them tell his secret.

I would think in this case, discretion would be advised. You should hide the fact that you smoke from your kids, and especially from their friends. Don't think for one minute that they aren't telling other people, like their parents, that you smoke. It'll come back to haunt you very soon if you keep being so open about it.

Onward!

My kids are all grown and none of them smoke. I do have a really cool son in law that likes to toke with me though, when I visit them he always makes sure there's green for us.

I'm always discreet and never smoke around my kid. But everytime she gets in trouble with the law she throws the fact that I smoke as her excuse for her actions. Her court appointed counsler and her probation officer don't buy into it though, espically sinsce they found out that I don't smoke around her at all. But to hear her tell it you'd think I was blowing supercharges in her face (ha!). The other day she accused me of putting hash in her milk (as if), if I had any I certainly wouldn't waste it on her sorry ass. I went thru the same thing with my oldest also, now that she is a mother with kids of her own she wonders why she gave me such grief. I'll be sooooo glad when my youngest grows up and moves out, that way I won't have to sneek around in my own home. As my oldest child has learned with the trouble with her own kids, carma is a bitch!!!!!!!!!

Onward! This is most true, I have a 18 y/o step-son that is now in college, he knows "i used too", but I do (if I can ever get any!!). But he is cool enough to not run around telling ever Tom Dickhead an Harry. He has done it a time or two himself, but it's turing out not to be his thing, unfortunatly alcohol is, but he is somewhat responsible with it, as underage and all he is.
