If you've over watered, I'd suggest leaving them be and letting your fan and lights dry the soil out. If you move her, you're just going to risk damaging the tap root. Just make sure there's a place for water to drain out of the bottom. MJ can take a heavy watering, as long as the drying-out process begins. It sometimes rains hard in nature, after all...

The biggest mistake people make is assuming it's time to water.
Dry soil on the top, does not mean dry soil inside the pot.
How can you tell when it's time to water?

Stick your finger in the dirt.. about 3/4 of an inch. if it's cold and damp, no water.

Dry and warm? Time to water.

The biggest mistake that is made.. is consistant watering.. thus resulting in OVER watering.

you should NEVER EVER have to water your plant more than 4 times a week. If you find your plant drying out fast or find yourself watering your plants more than 4 times a week. Then you need to re-evaluate your temperatures and ventilation.

P.S. You should never have to water your plant on a daily basis for ANY period of time.
Cheers, Bob.

urrrrr...waaa? please don't disrespect our holy Marijuana plant by urinating on it...it won't help anyways..

To be completely honest...it looks like you've jumped into something you need to do a lot more research about. I suggest some reading.. a "grower's guide" if you wish. You need some 101 on how Marijuana works... it is the very least you need to do if you wish to grow successfully.. It doesn't take long..i just think you need a new approach.

BobBong-is watering everyday bad for seedling stage too if its small amounts?

BobBong

Really you only want to water the plant for its size.. if it's a seedling.. obviously you won't need to water the entire pot fully. A consistantly wet atmosphere around the seedling can cause Damping-off (http://www.extension.umn.edu/distribution/horticulture/DG1167.html) as well as other things like mold/fungus.

Water for the size of the plant, not the size of the pot.

For the first few days.. up to a week.. you'll need to water.. either every other day.. or daily depending on lights, temp, ventilation..

no dont pee on it. LOL

sentinel... what bob said is true... but you can not let the seedlings roots dry.. especially when all it has is a tap root...

as long as you don't have an HID on your seedling, the top couple inches should stay moist if you put a couple tablespoons of water on it everyday..

many people have come through this forum and watered their seddling and then 4 hours later it is dead cause a 400 watt hps cooked it..

if your seedling is staring in rockwool, you may not have to water it more than once a week
