and then bandaged it back to health, I have partially broken many a branch (dumb ass), and taped it back together... it heals with a nice bulbous scar... but I have never tried to actually tape a branch back on that completely broke off..

has anybody done this?

Yeah krippy in the advance section was fooling around with this. I believe the technique is reffered to as "grafting" and can be done with almost any form of plant life (for example he's experimenting with grafting a bud branch to where he snapped off a tree branch) and it's coming along nicely. Leaves are healthy, perky, and I havn't checked recently but hey there might be new growth... going to check it out.

Peace

i snapped my babies neck, almost completely off... i rigged up
a little sling for her and got that bulbous scar...

a wise man once told me that the plant wants to live more than
i want it to...

Did you's notice a increase in bud size on the branchs yous have broken? ive heard that breaking them makes it grow bigger buds... dont really think i'll be trying it tho

I could see there being some truth in that. After all, once you break a bone in your body it heals to be twice as strong.. But likewise, not something I'm going to be experimenting with.

ummmmm... breaking a branch... umm... it sucks... and it is always so sad..

can't do it.. not even in the name of bigger BUDS!

That is true but since that spot is twice as strong the places were the healed break tapers off is quiet vulnerable to another break, that why your body has a constant team of builders and destroyers in your body to remove and remake your skeleton.

I sat on my plant once...
I had them out and lined up for watering and i squated down to get into my grow box for a second... didn't realize i put my ass right on one of the branches.. it didn't break off.. but it did snap... I took it completely off and attempted a clone with it.

My cloning technique at the time was ... non exsistant.. so i failed.

...

Casualties of war if you ask me... in the wild.. the plants take bugs,birds,bears..and all kinds of things.. breakage is bound to happen :\

Just try to avoid doing it.. that's all
