Hey Denver residents, please give the rest of us an update on the circumstances in your town following the legalization of marijuana. I've heard conflicting stories in the news, with one story quoting the chief of police saying they will uphold the will of the people, and another story said police are still able, and possibly encouraged, to cite offenders under state law.
Please tell us what's going on over there! What have your experiences with law enforcement been like?

I still can't come to terms with it, there was nothing said about it before it happened, and it always seemed to me America was very anti-weed.
So it's a shock that all of a sudden it's been partially decriminalized:D

hey sgt. pepper its jahjahjahjahHey jahjahjahjah it's lateralus. I believe I read in your other thread that it is legal in Denver, but still illegal in the state of Colorado. Meaning.. the whole thing is ambiguous.

I never understand that its legal to have but you cant buy or grow where the fuck do they expect you to get it. I think that screwed up. Should be at least to grow or buy from a registered esrablishment.

^ perfect place to do mail orders! I mean you send payment through a service like money gram which I believe is suppose to be private so if you're getting weed in the mail they have no evidence you bought it, and can only go after the seller:-)

Dont know dazed just read a post saying growing selling and buying are illegal just doesnt make sense UNLESS you have some magic weed that appears out of nowhere but I hear thats quite rare.

They don't want the laws so the government has no right to enforce them. This is a turning point.

If I'm not mistaken, and this is the beauty of it, the bill that passed stated the reasoning behind legalizing was to keep people from drinking...

yeah, the group that pushed for it is called SAFER (Safer Alternatives for Enjoyable Recreation), and their whole campaign was that it was to try to lower the usage of alcohol
