The ninth circuit court of appeals ruled yesterday that parents are not exclusive when it comes to talking to their kids about sex. A "mental health counsler" issued this questionaire to ELEMENTARY AGE CHILDREN between the ages of 7 and 10.
the parents were told before that the test would cover trauma at an early age but were never told it was about sex. Here are some of the questions....
touching my private parts to much...
thinking of having sex...
thinking about touching other peoples private parts...
thinking about sex when i dont want to...
washing myself because i feel dirty on the inside...
not trusting people because they might want sex...
getting scared or upset when i think about sex...
having sex feelings in my body...
cant stop thinking about sex...
getting upset when people talk about sex...
These are kids between 7 AND 10 YEARS OLD!!! anyway some parents didnt like being lied to about the study and sued the school district.
The judge ruled, and i quote.
"The federal court dismissed the federal causes of action for failure to state a claim upon which relief could be granted and dismissed the states claims without prejudice to their right to re-file in state court. WE AGREE ,AND HOLD THAT THERE IS NO FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT OF PARENTS TO BE THE EXCLUSIVE PROVIDER OF INFORMATION REGARDING SEXUAL MATTERS TO THEIR CHILDREN, either independent of their right to direct the up bringing and educationof their children or encompassed by it.
I do believe that the case was settled based on the law, however, coming from the court that ruled the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE unconstitutional because it will " indoctrinate" children unfairly is a joke.
PRIVATE SCHOOL for my kids folks.
