2. Where's Australia's narrowest pub? ---Kalgoorlie
Australia's smallest pub can be seen in the heart of Kalgoorlie, where it did brisk business between 1899 and 1924. A mere 3.35 metres wide, the British Arms was strategically placed opposite the busy Hannan Street railway station, which meant it quenched the thirst of miners both coming to and leaving the fabulously rich Western Australian goldfield. Today it is the Gold Mile Museum, which holds many fascinating goldrush relics.

1. Who's the famous poet who called himself "the most drunken man in the world" and lusted after "naked women in wet mackintoshes"? ----Dylan Thomas?...maybe

Um, Um, Um, Holy Correctness.

4. Which two famous drinkers named their home Cirrhosis-by-the-Sea ?----Errol Flynn and David Niven

Errol Flynn and David Niven shared a house in Hollywood which they aptly named "Cirrhosis-by-the-Sea". For a while the two dabbled with other drugs as well, until they settled down and concentrated on booze. Flynn later admitted he had tried everything from heroin to putting a pinch of cocaine on his penis - as an aphrodisiac. The two almost succeeded in drinking Hollywood dry, and in the process established an amazing reputation for wenching and wild behavior.

5. What is a teetotaller? someone who wont touch alcohol at all....i think....i havert heard that word in years
That horrible word teetotal was invented by a New York temperance society which demanded that new members put a huge "T" next to their names whenever they signed them to signify Total abstinence from booze. They soon became known as T-totals and gave the English language the word teetotal.

"A teetotaller is the very worst sort of drunkard." -E.F.Benson

Damn, thanks for teaching me something Az. :smokin:

Mr. Grog got his nickname because he wore a cloak of coarse cloth called grogram. He was labeled a cheapskate when, in 1740, he declared that Royal Navy sailors could no longer have their neat half-pint of rum, but that it should be diluted with water.

You were close on #7, unfortunately, if you had more than the first three-letters correct, you still would have only gotten 1/2 credit.
The German word for hangover is Kat*********, which means "wailing of cats". 0 CREDIT

#6 WRONG- The first known tax was introduced in 3400 B.C. in a city known as Memphis. The tax was charged on barley wine, which, strange as it may sound, was actually the first known form of beer. BUT Where's Memphis??? 0 CREDIT

James Bond- I'm not gonna give the answer away, but it has to do with women.
Japanese- " " ,but it has to do with wearing something soaked in something.
Voodoo Priests- " " , but an instant voodoo cure is when you ____ 13 _____-headed ____s in the _________ of the ______ that gave you the hangover.
