Pumpkin picking.
No seriously, I saw an advertisment for pumpkin pickers in Australia lol
Probably just bar and harvest work.
If you are looking for somewhere beautiful to go - go to Queensland, its a great place for stoners - laid back, friendly people, amazing beaches, great food, lovely weather, wildlife everywhere.......I could go on for ages!

Cool, well i am in the process of redecorating my room, so tomorrow i have to sort out everything that was in my cupboards (the contents filled 5 quite large boxes.. and there're only 3 cupboards lol) so hopefully i can get some weed before i do, so it's slightly more fun and i can just put some music on nice and loud:D
Also i'm a daily smoker, and haven't smoked any since saturday night, and before that 1 bowl i hadn't since thursday, so my tolerance is pretty low. That one bowl saturday got me proper fucked.. just ask Buddy! lol

Also jealous of your China photos. I want to tour that region properly for a good portion of my lifetime. A lot to learn there. Not enough herb, though.

Well, I guess I should say my favorite thing about China is my wife who I met when I was living there back in '96-'97. Besides her I'd have to say the culture, its just so dramatically different than anything in the West. There is also some incredible scenery, especially once you get out of the cities and head out to the west. Everything from beaches to jungles to deserts to the Himilayas. Definitely worth checking out if you have the chance.

Here's a few pics from out here in California. None of these places are more than a 6 hour drive from my house. The picture with the lichen covered rock in the bottom left hand corner is about 5 minutes from here. You'd never know that I live in a "city" with close to a million people. :D

Hey Tony, my uncle done that and said it was amazing, he is saving up to go back next year.
Have you started saving yet?

Wow, it sounds like a great opportunity. Do you speak any Chinese? Not too many people speak English there, especially outside of the bigger cities. If not, I'm sure you'll learn while your there. There's nothing like total immersion to force you to learn. I studied Chinese for two years in college here in the U.S. but learned more in my first two months in China.
Anyhow, I'm envious. I'd love to do something like that but now that I've got my wife and daughter, not to mention a mortgage payment, taking off for a year isn't in the picture. I do go back to China for a few weeks each year to visit my wifes family and do some travelling but it's not quite the same. Have fun.
Oh yeah, a little money can go a long way in China so you don't need to worry about saving too much. Just be prepared to bargain your ass off for anything you buy. Most places won't have prices on things so you have to ask and the price they tell you will be twice what they'd tell a native. And that is about twice what they actually expect to get. Some people get frustrated but I always see it as a game. You win some-you lose some. Have fun with it.
