yeah you get pretty much straight THC from a vape. if its done right. and you are way bouncier too

No I used somethign similar to a lightbulb vap. only it was professionally made and sold.

I didn't like the high, the smoking method was cleaner, just didn't care for the high. I like a more sedated type of high.

Yeah, getting a good vaperizor is key. Those cheap shit BC Vaps or lightbulb vapes just don't cut it. I've used several different ones and right now I have a Vapor Brothers which is fucking awesome. I'm sure it doesn't beat the Volcano but it's only $150 vs $400+.

The only drawback to a vaporizer that I can see is that they are more for personal use and you miss out on the traditional "smoking experience" . Even though I use a vaporizer 99% of the time now there is still something to be said for kicking back and smoking a joint or doing bong hits with a few friends.

if u havent hit the volcano personally i dont think you should have a say about vapourizers because nothing even compares to the volcano theres a reason why they are so expensive

With a lot of the vaporizers the first hit vaporizes the majority of the THC. So, it's better if each person finishes their own "bowl". Of course you can always pack another one but it's not the same as sharing a joint. Plus, most vaps are plugged in so you can only pass it as far as the cord will go.

I gotta try one of those Volcano's some day. I'm really happy with my Vapor Bros but the way everyone who tries a Volcano rants and raves about them they must really rock.

I can see how stdzrus would like smoking better if he likes a sedated high though. The main reason I love my vap is that I like a more up high that lets me do things instead of turning me into a couch potato. Other than the health advantages of vaping I think the up high vs the heavy stonedness is the main difference between smoking and vaping. Just depends on what each person prefers.

I just orderd the vapolutions www.vapolution.com its a glass on glass piece, so you get a clean smoke. I smoked some low-grade out of the same model, and got stoned out of my mind. I'm scarred to do premium bud.

And yes, you will get as much out of a vaporizer as you do out of a bong. Actually you'll get more. Since a vaporizer is more effcient at processing the THC you should need to use less bud to get high.

Yeah, you're probably right. Most people enjoy the "energetic" type high more, so for most people I would say a vaporizer gives a better experience. I do like to become a couch potato now and then.

The high from an indica is a bit more mellow than that of a sativa when you vap it. I've never gotten that hard core couchlock feeling when using a vaporizer though.

I guess it is hard to say what high is "better" since IMO the high from vaporizers is very different from the high you get from smoking weed traditionally (bong, pipe, joint, etc,). I have tried all kinds of vaporizers and I always seem to go back to the bong just because I personally favor the high that the bong delivers. Vaporizers just seem to give me a much less intense and less focused high, and I really enjoy those intense and focused feelings of being stoned. I guess my point is that everyone has their own tastes and preferences according to what makes them happy ... so vaporize or smoke it up at your own discretion and enjoy the shit out of it.
