i was wondering if anyone might know: in which state has there been more movies filmed? my guess would be california. there isn't really a point to this, i'd just like to know.

If you consider the fact that back in the old days almost all movies were filmed in Hollywood I'd say California. I'd even say that more modern movies are filmed here as well. We just have such a variety of scenery out here. High mountains with year round snow, miles and miles of beach, desert, farms, San Francisco and LA. You could film a ski movie, a surf movie,a cowboy flick, a gang banger movie, and a romantic chick flick all at the same time without travelling more than 500 miles.

Cali grows the best pot, within the United States.

My sister works out in L.A. for a P. R. firm, and Kate Hudson is one of their clients. I'd figure that most Movie Stars keep, most, of their business in Los Angeles. Except for certain movies shot on location, most are shot in Hollywood, with different backdrops.
