All you need is:

1 - 10" x 11" scrap piece of wood with pre-drilled holes. (or whatever size to fit your needs)

4 - lamp holders $1.97 ea.

2 - 42w spiral CFL bulbs warm light $4.99 ea.

2 - 150w spiral CFL cool bulbs $10 ea.

4 - 1' Jack Chain $.43 ea.

8 - screw hooks $.25 ea.

2 - 9ft ext cords $1.74 ea.

First screw in the lamp holders into the pre-drilled holes. On the opposite side, lock the lamp holders in place by attaching the nut to the post. Next cut off the plug-in side of the two ext cords. Split the wires and get about half an inch of exposed wire at the tip. Wire up the negative with the negative and the pos with the pos and cap them.

Then you screw in your screw hooks into the board that has now become your fixture and to the top of your cabinet. Chain it up, plug it in and wait for your seedlings to pop out and grow.

Its 8200 lumens right now but if you were to go with all four 150w you would have 10,400 lumens. This is for a small grow as you can see and i have poster board with velcrow as the cover. Questions??????

Happy Growin!!!!!!!!!!1 :D :stoned: :smokin:

mrabrego...
the smaller right side of the extension cord is the live, the larger side is neutral
...positive and negative deal with Direct Current, where as live and neutral are for AC.

The hydro setup was just for model purposes in those pics. Its just clay pebbles in the net cups just so you can see how i will have the light over the cuttings when i take them. This light is for vegging only! I have room for six little ladies so i think i will grow that many.

newatthis: I think mylar would be better than foil.

The grow is going fine. They are starting to flower nicely and will be done in about 4 - 5 more weeks. I have them under a 400w HPS and two 150w CFL spirals under. Its a pretty small cabinet i have these sativas in but fortunately they have stopped stretching and are now developing more flowers. I should have cut all six down to single stems but since i am a newbie and i thought i would get more out of letting them grow wild, i did. We'll just have to compare to future grows. :D
