you want positive? here it is!
What kind of pets do you have and what are their names?
I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. My dogs are both labs, a yellow female named Samantha Cruiser, and a black named Hunter. Hunter is the bestest dog ever!!! He is a very large lab, and when you look into his sweet sweet puppy eyes, you know someone is home in there. Hes brilliant! We call him Bug, short for Love Bug.
Then there's the cats! Assholes all, but i love 'em anyway. The oldest is 'Lil Bit, shes a very petite little white bitch, shes so cool, we call her Princess Little Feets, ( self explanitory). Then there is Tig, the biggest and baddest cattitudinal jerk of them all. He is the one I like to fuck with the most, he's a growly little shit and if you fuck with him too much he'll grab you with his teeth but doesnt really bite down. Just enough to let you know you better knock it the hell off or next time he wont be so nice about it. Then there is Squeek. He has very short legs so his fat gut almost hits the floor when he waddles across the room. Hes also very loudly vocal, he sounds like a loud creaky, rusted screen door when he meows. He is so freakin' cute! We call him Fatty Squeezer cause you just want to hug him all the time.
I love my critters. I used to have cockatiels, but ended up allergic to the dust they put off. I had a favorite mouse named Mr. Twitch, and a baby Ball Python named Rain. We took care of my cousins red tail Boa for a while too, he was 8 foot long, and watched my little white cat a little too close for my comfort. Reptiles and rodents are great pets, but my old man doesnt quite feel the same as I do where they're concerned so I have to stick with cats and dogs.

I have 2 cats and 2 rabbits. 1 cat that i made a thread about earlier is called Monty, he's a dopey cat and very loving too:D My other cat is a girl called Tilly (Matilda) and she's the same, dopey and sleepy a lot, but loving and lively at others.
My sister has 2 rabbits, a brown boy called Scampy and a white girl called Daisy. Scampy will let you stroke him anytime you go near him, he loves people and will hop in and out of the house given half the chance. Daisy is 1 year younger than Scampy and is very scared, she rarely lets you get near her, i love them both the same:D

I have had a rabbit and guinea pig in the past. They were both male and the rabbit was called Sooty as he was white with a black nose, and the guinea pig was called Sweep (after the top tv show, Sooty and Sweep).
I feel bad for Sweep, as when he died all i said was "That was a waste of food." as my mum bought some food for him the day before:p lol.

We also had a very cute little duckling that we found, there were a family of ducks at the end of my road and they had walked about 2 miles from the pond they came from (1 mother and about 8 ducklings). The ducks all walked off to the pond leaving the slow one behind, we took it to the pond but the rest of it's family swam off leaving it behind so we took it home for the night. I kept it in a box with no top in my bedroom, but was dead by morning:( It is now buried next to Sooty and Sweep in the garden:)

I had the rat man round today cos we have a serious rat problem around where I live - Seamus arrives with a rat in his mouth and made great friends with the rat man. And for once he left it in the garden.

Got a 75 gallon salt water reef tank here with a blue tang and a big green brittle starfish that eats out of my hand.

A cat named sassy. sassy is a grey short-haired tiger. A killer. Did you ever notice how a cat will sit and stare at you with the pupils in its eyes changing shape? Well, it's not love. The cat is always sizing you up for the kill. It's instinct. You didn't really think that cat loved you did you?

Had two cockatiels. The first one I had out on the deck on a nice spring day. A strong wind blew the cage over...and it crashed and broke. The bird sat up in a tree...but wouldn't come to me when I called it. It lost its sense of direction. Moved further and further from branch to branch out into the woods. I could hear it calling for a day or two...but lost sight of it. It most likely fell prey to a passing hawk. Although, a friend told me recently that there are actually parakeets out in the wild around here now who have learned how to nest together in commune style to brave these cold winters.

The other cockatiel fell prey to something that was smart enough to open the cage door, slaughter the bird in a corner of the cage (feathers were the evidence), and get the cage door open again to leave with its kill (no body was found). A Kingfisher? A Racoon?

Never had much luck with dogs or rabbits. They always seem to get run over by cars.

i have four dogs and a bird. two of my dogs are lhaso apsos, another a terrier (i can never remember the full name, he's black and real small. someone has to know.), and a miniature poodle. the two lhasos are appropriately named, jag and zoe - terrier is named bam-bam and my beloved poodle is named, charlie. i have a quaker for a bird and he's named jojo. i love 'em all soo much.

I have two yorkshire terriers. The older one (and slightly bigger weighing a whole 11 pounds) named Corby and then the younger one (Still 3 years old) and my personal dog, Boo (fullgrown at 7 pounds)... Yorkies are aresome..... and they're so small you can bring them anywhere, lol.

Hey, Roadking. I do know what you mean about cats! They dont really love us, they just look at us like that cause they only think of us as food dispencers and kitty treat banks where they only have to be cute for a withdrawl. Gotta love 'em though!

I read somewhere that when cats rub against you, they're sort of marking you as territory. Not sure if I really believe that though. With the purring and all, it's nice to think there's some affection there.

You're deprived of information man, you know when your cat walks about (like mine do) the house rubbing the sides of it's mouth on the corners of things? That's rubbing the scent and marking the territory.. If you watch them first they'll sniff it to make sure no one else has it, and to make sure they haven't marked it recently, then rub against it.

Honestly i believe my cats love me just as much as i do them:D

Thanks man... I can't say I'm into yappy dogs either (I really get annoyed with the other one not pictured)... but the one in the picture doesn't bark very much... pretty much only when he wants to be held... So he's a step ahead of all the other small barking dogs :D.

I have a cat, my bundle of joy. Her name is "Big Momma", for she reigns supreme in the outdoors, dominating anything that moves in her presence. All what she does, is kill mice/rabbit, and bring them back to me, for me to feed her. I love her so much, she's so beautiful. She sleeps in the garage, comes inside sometimes, and is always around the house.

She makes my day instantly better when I see her. I'll post pics of her later.

yup, that's definitely what it is. i'd like to hook the scanner up to my computer, but it's currently being used downstairs for a fax machine - strictly. i say it's bullshit, but oh well! yeah bman, my yorkie is only like six months old or so...he's a baby. he's not yappy though, i guess they naturally aren't? i suppose it all depends on the dog. thanks for the picture, man.

I have 1 cat, Priss, plus my girlfriend's 2 cats, Spook and Lorelei, who are black and white, respectively. I used to have 3 cats myself, but Spanky & Curly both got hit by cars & died. :-( My girlfriend originally brought me 5 cats that were left on her friend's doorstep, and whose eyes were not even yet opened. When I got them, you could hold each one entirely in the palm of your hand, they were so small! We had to nurse them & play mother cat to them for a while, and 2 of them didn't make it, but I had Priss, Curly & Spanky for several years before losing the 2 boys.

Two cats; Dandelion and Burdock. Danni is black with little white patches on her tummy, and is a princess. She also does the typical cat poses. Burdock's a tabby, and is absolutely stoopid. He'll chase the shadow of his tail.

I have a dog, Pepsi, who lives with my mom, I've had her since I was 13, but it's not really fair to (a) separate her from my mum and Coco (mum's dog) and (b) have her in this flat.

I have a dog. He is a shih-tzu/poodle. He is 8 years old and his name is Little Foot. I love this little dog so fucking much it overwhelms me. He follows me everywhere. He wakes me up every morning. He comforts me if Im sad, or he comforts me when Im confused, lonely, or even just cold. He is always watching me with his big puppy eyes. I take pride in the fact that I also comfort him, when hes scared or anxious. We love each other very much.

I have a horse. He is a Dutch Warmblood/Thoroughbred gelding. 16hh, 7 years old. His name is Lou. Lou is beautiful and talented, and extremely athletic. He is a little jokester and he is too smart for his, or our, own good. At times he frustrates me incredibly, but there are moments when he makes me so proud I cry. Sometimes we fight, but I always apologize and the next day is always better. We have accomplished so much over 3 and a half years. I love my little Louie and his gorgeous, soft body. His intelligence, compassion, intuition, patience, sense of humour. These are things I admire in him. He inspires me.
