Hey everyone,

i recenly harvested my crops, when flowering they had a sweet smell and were vary sticky but now that the drying they smell very leafy, like dead grass with no hint of skunk at all. Did i dry them wrong? Was it the strain? Will curing them bring forth the skunky smell. By the way the smoke is great, and its an incredible stone i just wish the smell would be more pungeant.
Thanks for any replies

Outdoor with foxfarm, it didnt end up stinking even after cure. Could it have just been the strain?

The green smell disappears with curing. The longer they cure, the more the chlorophyll breaks down, the better they taste and smell. It's hard (unless you grow a lot) to wait a month or two for a good cure -- but I've had pot I thought sucked and put it away and smoked the better plant, and when I finally broke into plant 2 (2 months later) it had cured into awesomely good bud. I never would have guessed it was the same plant.

Also, use oroganic ferts and flush your plants with water the last week or so to create a less harsh smoke
