...blueberry traits...I just noticed tonight, these 3 red streaks on my baby
We will call one plant no rocks
the other we will call marble rocks...
while I was uploading...I had problem with photo editor and lost pic file...
so in 2 hours waiting for upload, I found out that I lost the file...the pix 2 and 3 are just are 3 hours after 1st pic,,,notice the difference more red streaks and tip burn :(
Well, "no rocks" has yellow patches and some red streaks appearing/getting worse...What's wrong?...nute deficiency...I am looking this up myself, but since this is my first ever, real problem...I thought I would post it, because the problem is...
...so clear!
"marble rocks"...has a pale green color and maybe starting to yellow, but not as bad as "no rocks"...tips are burning/browning
Any ideas, comments, question's will be welcome and discussed, thanks ahead of time for those of you who decide to chime in...latewood
while I'm waiting for upload...I can say...they were a little on the light side and getting worse...IMHO so, I went ahead and mixed up some nutes...not too heavy!; or so I thought....Hmmm...well they are definitely big enough to have under HID, so I am now going to get out my nutrient deficiencies notes
...maybe we can all learn something...latewood
double PS...the pix are big, so be patient :stoned:
I did some reading and I think it's potassium deficiency...as opposed to cal-mag...???

yeah i checked through the plant abuse chart looks like potassium deficiency to me

Thanks, Rasta...I pulled them out of the runoff tray so they could dry a little and they are looking better...red streaks, not increasing in size...well...let me check......................................they look a little better...
the funny thing is; I just nuted them 2 nights ago...and AN grow is 2-1-6,
micro is 5-0-1, bloom is 0-5-4...so it kind of shocked me. I have read that blueberry and jack herer are both hard to grow and blueberryxjackherer is real touchy about nutes during veg...

Hey LAtewood,
You are definitely over watering, and as rasta said it is showing potasium defciancy... but that may not be the only issue....,,,
When you mix your nuts, do you mix them all together and then add them to the resivor..? 'Cause this will cause a nutrient lock.. the nutrients need to be added one by one or at least mixed in a bucket with running water..
How is your PH?

...I know how to mix nutes, c'mon...I said it was potassium, in my first post and I believe we are over-watered and that was because I noticed the deficiency and added my nutrients after watering just 24-36 hours earlier :stoned:, thanks for the confirmation GK...last night, they just hadn't(because of overwatering) taken up the nutrients I gave them, because they were full...It was just a brainfart'...I have never overwatered before, but I have been taking some more chances these last couple of grows, and I am challenging concepts and accepted norms; in order to be able to consistently produce good quality crops. Not from people's advice, which I appreciate, but because I KNOW, because I did it that way. Even at the risk of losing buddage :smokin: I am very happy, with what I have accomplished in the last year and with the investment of 2 new lamps, I now see the where frosty frosties candy comes from...
...I have made mistakes on purpose in some instances...like when I flowered my Bigass BlueberryJack, got a little lazy, saw balls, but left it there for a few more days. Well The Bigass Sativa got pollenated by Jack...hmmm (the fan blew right over the BBJ)...so now I have a Bigass Sativa (from clones) with a shitload of seeds(nice genetics) call it a mistake, but now I know exactly how long is, too long to leave a plant/s with balls in your flower room...sorry for the rant,
...By the way, I replanted both of them tonight...stay tuned for some updated pix, latewood :)

Hello Latewood :) I would reply to more of you're threads but I affraid you go right over my head :o
You seem to have allsorts of plants growing and technical stuff everywhere ;)
I had a look at you're build a light thread and it looked immpresive, I couldn't undersatand it but I was impressed :)
bye for now ......love mand xxx :)

Mand, darling...It would be a pleasure, if you would stop by more often...in fact I was wondering last night or 2...what I had done to offend you...
If you follow my threads I feel like they are not all that complicated...
As far as different things going...1. I am in the middle of harvest; last of PHAZE II clones are coming tonight  HARVEST ...
I built a system...
...I have my blue crosses and I replanted 2 of them; the 2 that were suffering. I took pix for a step by step...
...2 days ago I took clones and pix for a new step by step on cloning...
and I am getting ready to plant sexy orange skunk today or tomorrow to keep up my perpetualness...
Oh yeah, did I mention that I am revegging 2-3 of my clones for mother's...
stay tuned...roflmao :D :D
So what do I have going on...
1. harvest
2. blues
3. clones from blues
4. reveg
5. new system
6. starting new beans...
Isn't this what everyone is doing??? :) :smokin: :stoned:
I missed your comment on my light thread...Look here girlfriend...If you ever want to put a light together, It really is quite simple; it looks complicated, all those wires and SChtuff, but it is not. I would be more than willing to 'walk' you through any of it, anytime!...putting together my own light saved me alot of money and the frosty frosties are popping out all over :D
...I post alot of threads about problems and about ways to save money or where is the cheapest place to buy things, but the main reason for my madness :stoned: is that; I want to know if I am doiing something wrong.
By making step by step threads; I put myself 'out there' as a target for criticism...Well I don't get much negative feedback, so I guess i am on the right track...and I learned so much in the last year, that I might pull a Z and right a book  who loves ya? latewood
Sorry I haven't crossed the pond in a while, but I will check your journasllater today, thanks, latewood

Hi latewood,
What medium are you growing? What is your pH ?
AN suggest that we mix Mirco first and Bloom and then Grow. What ppm are you feeding your Bluebery ?

OK...just this once. week 4 veg nutes are a variation of advanced nutrients used in synergy with botanicare products and Humic Acid, Hygrozyme and last ,but not least...yeah, you guessed it Superthrive. I used AN's veg cycle plan to base my tea recipe according to my own experience with the products that I use.
...I will give you hydro first, then Orhid Mix variables...This recipe is based on the use of 5 gallons of PH'd ROwater.
AN 3-part...M 20ml...G 20ml...B 5
Humic acid 10ml
Voodoo Juice 25ml
Liquid Karma 40ml
B-52 50ml
calmag+ 50ml
Hygrozyme 100ml
Superthrive tsp.
I only use a little bit of humic acid because Liquid Karma contains humic acid and I don't use as much Liquid Karma because I also use B-52 and you can use either/or, I choose to use both and superthrive...which is also a B vitamin of sorts...
My Orchid Mix/soil mix is
1 gallon ph'd ROwater
m 5ml g 5ml b 2.5ml
voodoo 10 ml
B-52 10ml
liquid karma 10ml
calmag+ 10ml
hygrozyme 20ml
superthrive 1/4 tsp.
Is that what you asked for...
Hello Latewood :) offend me  Nah never ;)
I just can't reply to a lot of what is said on here because I don't know anything about ...................well most of what is said :o
I read you're thinking about a windmill and a generator for running the light's, now that sounds complicated, I think changing a plug is about the limit of my technical know how ;)
Anyway I'm affraid I'm going to be too busy for the plants this weekend. I've arranged with my daughter to go into Nottingham tommorrow...........shopping :)
Well I've got one or two party thingys to go to near Christmas and I really have got to find a couple of new outfits to go in.
Just ask Mrs Latewood, she will tell you how complicated that can be ;)
love mand xxx :)

Hi latewood,
For hydro: Run one cycle flush with RO pHed 5.6 and back to your normal feeding at 1/4 strength.
For soil mix: A good flush with RO pHed 6.3 and wait until your medium dry out then apply 1/4 of your nutrients strength.
Woodoo Juice is great to use along with Pirahna and Tarantula for root mass development.

I'm sorry...cnd, but what are you talking about? MY hydro is perfect( I know basic ph/flush theory)(been growing for awhile)...why would I change my nute program...currently harvesting my clones from last grow 3/4 pound or so from 5 plants all grown with AN + additives...4 dwc/1 orchid mix.
as far as the 2 plants in this thread; I re-potted them into 16-17qt.pots and watered them (just enough to keep Orchid Mix moist) lightly...The next feeding they get will be ph'd ROwater with g5-m5-b5 and superthrive and that is it...when they perk/green up and say 'Hello' I will start my flower phase, a week or so later.
While I appreciate your input, I don't agree with your wrecklessly throwing out info like you have here, which can confuse somebody who does not know what they are doing...for instance; when you said "I recommend using budblood with bigbud and overdrive"
Well, that is extremely vague because you NEVER use them together, they are used consecutivly throughout flowering! Thanks again for your reply, we are ALL learning something new everyday...latewood

Sorry to confuse you, latewood,
I suggested that using Bub Blood with Big Bud and Overdrive. But, I did not recomment using those together at the same time.

cool man...you didn't confuse me. That's my point. Others could be misled, if we don't clarify things, when we first post them, that is all I'm saying.
