It's been over 10 years since the last time I got stoned and was wondering if any here danced with MJ again after all these years and how it went.

And yes, WTF is couchlike?

Not me, been smoking off and on 20+ years. And it's "couchlock", not "couchlike", and it basically means either weed that induces, or the state of being, so stoned you're "locked" to the couch. All you can do is sit there, staring and giggling and the like.

It has been over 15 years for me and yes it was awesome. Relieved 15 years of built up stress in one day. :rasta:

I have smoked on and off ever since I was 15. So I guess thats 19 years Ive been smoking. Most of the time I wasnt smoking it was because I didnt have a connection not from a lack of interest in smoking.

I was the life of the party in my younger years. However, drinking started to leave me cold me in my mid twenties. All the booze would do was give me a head ache or leave me feeling buzzed but not in control. Thats the reason I love weed so much. It gets me a buzz, but it leaves me in control and makes me happy. I have an ex who instead of saying I was going to get high would say I was getting goofy, cause it just kind of picked me up. Love that feeling.

Its just hard now in my mid 30s to find like minded people on a regular basis that still smoke. Although at the same time Im really surprised by how many people smoke. People that you normally wouldnt think would be smokers, seem to love the weed. Its a real shame that weed has such a bad reputation it really should be just as legal as beer. Ecspecially considering the legitmate medical benefits.

Anyway, Ill get off my soap box now, just wanted to pipe in with my two cents worth, get it? pipe in.....ok made me laugh, but then again maybe Im just being goofy.

Any one wants to chat or get togther for a burger sometime feel free to email me.

Hey chrisinallen. Sounds like you are like a lot of us. There are a LOT more people in their 30's and even much older who still much prefer to smoke a bit rather than drink or use tobacco. Unforunately, most folks in our demographic become more and more reclusive about it, for fear of losing jobs.

Making the first step to meet someone from the forums is a biggie. Everyone is scared that they're being scammed by someone who could ruin things for them. It probably would be safe to just meet over coffee or a burger, as you suggested, and just get to know that the other person is for real and not LEO.

I hope things work out for you and that you're able to locate something tasty soon.
Onward!
