what is it, ive been hearing alot about it on these boards, but could someone tell me what it is and what it does, and were to buy some.

i have not yet tried salvia, but i have researched it alot. Erowid.com is an excellent website and i recomend you go there. anyways.

salvia diviniorum is a sage. it is closely related to the kind you cook with. its active ingredient is salviniorum A. it is currently nt illegal in the US, but is illegal in other parts of the world.
the experience is different at different doses. you want to use a water pipe, and start out with at most 15x. 20x will frighten you and it is not as enjoyable(from what i have read, just an opinion) for beginners. a salvia high is described as a hard trip, an experience. it was used by shamans and other native americans.
you can purchase this online ( i heard good reviews about salviaworld.com) or in a headshop. as far as i am aware of, it for incense use only when you buy it, it is technically not legal to smoke, but i doubt little can be done about it. headshops and other hippie or herbal stores sell it as well. a gram of 20x is around 30 dollars and lower grade is cheaper. prices vary greatly because of quality. like anything, do your research before trying. there are some videos online that are of people tripping.
