Why is it that the words do and done don't sound right with the word pot? Like, 'hey man, have you ever done pot?' or 'Yeah, dude, I do pot all the time'. It just sounds odd, or as I so famously prefer to say, arousing.

Not counting alcohol, caffeine, that one time I tried salvia (it didn't do anything), and the codeine pills I got when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, then pot is the only drug I've done recreationally.
