A few weeks ago, I downloaded an entire concert off of "BearShare". It was the last one Jimi Hendrix played, at the Isle of Fenharm (sometime between Sept 3-18). The quality of the sound isn't that great, but you can tell the difference between His 2nd to last show (Isle of Wight), and this one. It seems that, with every concert, he was evolving.
Before he died, he had sent his band back to America and had a flight booked.
One can only wonder how he would've captured America, when he returned.
On Sunday, 106.9 FM (in Hampton Roads) was playing "blocks" of music. Right before I reached my destination (somewhere in the middle of Virginia), a Hendrix block came on. It started went: "All Along The Watchtower", "Purple Haze", and "The Wind Cries Mary". Our population, at this point in time, still isn't ready for a block of "Roomful of Mirrors", "Night Bird Flying", and "Hey, Baby (Land Of The New Rising Sun)".
