I just got back from blockbuster to get a DVD my mom wanted to watch. Wile I was there, some lady backed her fucking SUV into the side of my car. To make things worse than they were, she drove off and fucking ignored the giant dent in my door and my busted window. To make matters even worse, nobody got the license numer. I talked to the clerk (or whatever blockbuster employees are called) and he logicly figured out that it was, without a doubt, the lady he just checked out. BUT before he could give it to me, his manager comes up, takes the information, and pretty much says "It doesn't matter that you have no window and theres a giant dent in your door and you don't know who it is, I cannot give you her information as it is against company policy." :rolleyes: The cop came and the manager wouldn't even give him the lady's name. At this point, I'm just like "WHAT THE FUCK." A few minutes later, when I was outside, another employee comes up to me and hands me the slip of paper telling me to not let his manager know. How awesome. I gave the information to the cop and to make the rest of the long story short, that lady is going to be in trouble.
My car was sitting in a space behind the lady's SUV, she backed right into the side, stopped like she knew she hit my car, and then drove off. What a moronic bitch...

Fucking SUV's there no good.Who the hell lets an old lady drive those things anyway? Hope she gets hung, and if she isn't the judge should be shot.

That's BS... the manager won't give you the name? Just taking a wild stab at it.. but i'd guess that the manager knew the lady and could have been friends with her? Only logical reason I can think of for refusing to give the name out... still... that sucks... but at least you eventually got her information :).

sucks about your car, but at least you got the info. when i was driving taxi i backed into a minivan but he wasn't even in a parking spot, and it was 2 am. so i drove off never heard from them. MWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAA :stoned: :rasta:

You could have mentioned the phrase "Obstruction of Justice" to the puny manager and gotten some results. I've found that small time bureaucrats will stubbornly refuse to help one, out of fear of their superiors (mostly everybody), unless you give them something bigger to be afraid of. Usually the law will do nicely on that score. Hats off to the guy who came to your assistance.
Don't want to piss anybody off, but once when I was taking my grandmother shopping, a car blocked us in while we were inside the grocery store. Typical thoughtless bastard who thinks they can do whatever they want, to hell with anybody else. Since I had a trailer hitch on the back of my car, I rammed the son-of-a-bitches vehicle and left a substantial reminder that they should be more careful how they parked. My grandmother thought it was funny as hell, talked about it for weeks. It was worth the worry (I'm a generally peaceful guy) just to make her happy.

yeah really. i guess people suck and are cool. that does suck though, i don't like irresponsible people. i'm glad shes getting in trouble for it

All the manager said was that it was against blockbuster's privacy policy. In my opinion, circumstances like this should overrule the privacy policy. :rolleyes: It is possible that he knew her, but I don't want to blame him for something like that. :p
